Was there many people waiting outside?

I had a very poor experience there despite pre booking food it was well over an hour late in being ready. Never again
    .
No mate, bear in mind this was lunchtime not evening, two couples in front of us and another two couples behind us. Guess when it’s not busy they can keep to times easily.

What other food outlets do they have at the market
Got family coming up later this week, with a couple of kids, and looking for somewhere to grab a snack up town
There’s not a lot there to be fair. There was the kebab one, El Cartel for tacos, Herringbone for drinks, Linton Coffee and a pizza van.

I heard it rumoured that they might be going in that empty unit, that will make four pizza places in Corstorphine.

Think they will do well their pizza’s are tremendous.

I’m fussy with my pizzas now I’ve got an Ooni oven but nice to have them handy :-)

Yes they are quite good and done in a stone based pizza oven rather than the conveyor electric ovens that the chains use.

Is there a list of places that have signed up for the 'eat out to help out' deal in Edinburgh?
I'm not sure how complete this list is. Restaurants taking part in the scheme in Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian. Being a food bloggers site it doesn't include fast food places although they get a wee mention.

One that has jumped out at me is Chop House. The offer is also applicable on their 2 sides and 2 rumps for £35 deal so you’d be getting it all for £17.50. For the same stuff any other day you’d be looking at about £48.

Just back from Rollo on Broughton Street.

Mrs had the Scallops. I had the Beef Fillet. Really lovely food. Attentive staff and a nice extensive wine list. Nice vibe too with good music on.

Seemed to be doing a roaring trade, would recommended highly!

I think most places would be foolish not to sign up.

Of course it is,the idea is to get people back out eating in restaurants that have been closed throughout, not takeaways that have been open throughout.

Plenty doing it for sit in & take away. I wouldn't be chancing it sitting in a restaurant.

I thought it didn’t start until Monday, unless they are funding it themselves

Yes but you have to have a sit in area, business’s that are solely takeaway are not eligible.
