And even though she seems to play very well, there are probably some things that just won't work.

Calling to chase up an order and being told it's in its way... Then having a courtesy call 10 minutes later asking if I received it and then promising it would be dispatched in 10 minutes.
I admire the ambition of not having made my food but phoning just in case I think I've received it though. A few more beers on an empty stomach and they might have caught me out!Mon the Hibs.

I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation for this one but I'm going to moan anyway.
The Waverley Steps currently being closed. I've been walking to work lately and I cut through the station. For the most part the station is absolutely deserted, it's a bit busier the last couple of weeks but we are talking a couple of handfuls of people as opposed to the usual early morning chaos. The steps are completely closed and gated shut so the only access to Princes Street, from the station, is using the lifts. As I said until the last fortnight I was often the only person other than staff in the place so it was fine. However now it is a bit busier and only one person or one household is permitted to use either of the lifts at a time even a queue of 4 or 5 people can mean a 10+ minute wait.
I would think it is fairly easy to socially distance on a set of stairs or an escalator so I assume it isn't for safety reasons they are closed. The only explanation I can think of is the steps are owned by either the hotel or the shopping centre and because they are closed they have closed the steps as well. It just seems a bit daft otherwise.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

Pet peeve that I noticed on the main board: people saying Sporting Lisbon.
There's two main football clubs in Lisbon. Sl benfica and sporting club de Portugal.
The only sporting Lisbon in Portugal is benfica, yet people constantly refer to the green and white hooped team as sporting Lisbon!

Technically Benfica are Sport Lisboa e Benfica and a lot of their merchandise will carry a SLB logo.
When over, I will go to see all the clubs I can. Benfica always feel a bit Hunnish, lots of self-entitlement and so forth, but they do have their own song, a ballad in the style of SOL written and sung and sold by some Lisbonese crooner in the 1950s to raise money to develop the stadium. It gets belted out before every home game.
Belenenses were my team but they had some massive split, akin to Wimbledon, with the top-flight team moving to the city centre and a new team staying in the original ground in Belém, but in the fifth or sixth flight. Nicely, Belenenses’ first ever game in European football was against us. I have not been able to get over obviously but I think I will earmark the lower-league Belenenses. For anyone going to Lisbon, the Benfica stadium and Sporting stadium are cracking venues and easily accessible on the metro. There's only one thing better than a Hibs calendar and that's two Hibs calendars

A cold pint of Tennents, I know Tennents is cheap and nasty and beer snobs hate it but it's my old faithful, I hadn't had a drink of alcohol since the 2nd of March(the derby, proof Hibs turn me to drink) yesterday when out and about I got a takeaway San Moretti as the fancy bar had no T, today I've just picked up 2 litres of draft Tennents from Brass Monkey on the Walk, **** its glorious
My pet peeve however is posting on the wrong thread

More a moan than a peeve. We’re doing some work on our garden and ordered a load of top soil. Was delivered at 6.55, with guy ringing the bell and waking the whole house up including a none too impressed 18 month old.
Who delivers at 6.55am! 🤬

Knees. How badly designed and put-together are they? Proof if needed that intelligent design is bollocks, nobody intelligent would design a joint as poorly. I dread trying to find stuff in the bottom cupboards in the kitchen now cos I know it's gonna be a mission getting back up.
Craft brewery IPA's/dark beers over here in Aus. F *** ing terrible. Fizzy plasticy horrible swamp water. What I wouldn't give for a pint of Deuchars or Belhaven Best.

That is true.
I used to drink the bottle version and it was always good. I didn't realise they still did produce this but I have moved on now.

Videos on social media of people allowing their dogs to lick their babies faces as the sit in their rockers, worse than that is adults who allow their dogs to sleep in their bed with them, absolutely disgusting behaviour.

People who misspell my name. Not if it's just an error which happens but in emails or after I have spelled it out for them.
My name is Stuart, my email address at work and personal contains that name so starting a conversation with 'Hi Stewart' or worse 'Hi Steuart' is just rude really. Do people think I deliberately spell my own name incorrectly in my email address?PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years
