I seem to recall them having 'positive talks' before the last vote that didn't go the way they wanted too 👇

It sucks for them, but the SPFL have acted properly. Hearts have been relegated for being bottom at the end of the season.Follow the Hibs podcast, Longbangers, on Twitter (@longbangers)

Positive talks or not, they still need to vote it through 11-1 don’t they? No ****ing danger is that happening.

"stand together and protect each other" **** off you shower of *******s. Was that the thinking during Mercer's time? How about the Pie Man when he was ripping off SMG to gain an advantage, what about when Romanov robbed, conned and cheated dozens of firms, pensioners, tax man, NHS and charities? How about when you were getting£3m per year from undisclosed sources? All of that done to stand together? Just go and **** right off. Even the huns aren't as self absorbed as you losers. At least they had a number if titles and trophies that made them like that. You ****s only have your own delusion. Now please do the honourable thing and really help all clubs by accepting your fate. But honourable and hearts do not go together

It’s over. Budge is trying to deflect from her own glaring inadequacies. Time to move on.

This should be off the table asap. Clubs voted to end the season early to get clarity and to prepare for next season. This just adds to the uncertainty and ill feeling. fully expect hibs to stick with their guns and reject any reconstruction proposal for next season.

Whilst reconstruction has even the slightest chance, they're not down yet, despite being 'relegated'.
Just 1 club going bust lets them back in too.
I'm keeping the powder dry for the time being.

Biggest part of that statement is "if supported" teams have already voted against it, and will continue to do so for now.

We need to acknowledge the irony of Robbie Neilson, who was hunted out of Hertz, gets his team promoted, at the same time as Hertz go down.

Two relegations to the Championship in 6 years firmly places them into yo yo club territory IMHO.
It'll be good to see a genuinely big club in Dundee United replace them next year.

Only a premiership club going bust would mean that

A couple of the muppets over on Keekback are rubbing their hands of the SPFL paying out the remaining £7.2m as it will empty their coffers and thry can use their share to finance their court case against a skint SPFL.
SPFL paid out all clubs on their worst case finishing position weeks ago. Hearts got 12th place money. They are 12th place now. No extra cash for them from that payout.

Similarly for reconstruction. If I was the Dundee chairman I'd be questioning why Hearts have the automatic right to a place in the Premiership. Hearts were 6 points from safety and 4 points from even getting to the playoff spot. Dundee were 4 points from 2nd and Ayr were only 1 point further back. Even Morton in 7th place were only 4 points from a playoff spot, the same as Hearts.

Am I understanding this correctly?
Budge was given a surprise second chance to propose a reconstruction plan at today’s meeting, and STILL didn’t come up with anything?
Amateur hour at Tynecastle.
“We want reconstruction so we don’t get relegated.”
“Ok, what do you propose?”
“Er, well, don’t have anything yet, but some clubs might be in favour. Promise we will send something through in the next few days.”
“You said 2-3 weeks max Ann. That deadline is long gone.”
“Unfair!”

However, it would appear their reconstruction pleas are set to fall on deaf ears so I think you can relax and savour the moment.
My only wee regret about the season is that we went into that final derby over-confident and didn't administer the beating that would have left them seven points adrift and with significantly less wiggle room to claim they still had a chance of staying up. It would also have seen us finish fifth.
