He is basically saying there is more chance of Ron dying?? Like WTAF.
Not just that but he basically described Ann Budge as a way of denigrating Hibs. Guy is on another planet.

Kiwidoug is the same guy that said their second half of the season was demonstrably better than ours.

He's the sort of guy that would spend a day in a revolving door because he couldn't figure it out.
I quite often see crazy comments on here that this guy has said. I wonder if anyone over there either challenges or agrees with the stuff he comes out with.

UEFA conference call this Thursday, can we expect the announcement that season 19/20 is now over ?

I noticed this a few weeks ago (when all this started) and one of the Celtic guys had posted each clubs running costs on twitter (no idea how accurate they were), in particular that it was costing around £500k - £600k a month more for Hearts to operate compared to Hibs. And Hibs have the entire running costs of East Mains to absorb.
I wonder if Hearts are getting rent relief at Herriot Watt?

I think UEFA will just say that it can happen and leave it up to the member associations to call if they want.

A honking full back from Oz. Sure he had a bizarre dig at us last season over something, like most of the random nobodies they sign seem to do. Think Ryan McGowan but without a modicum of any ability. Course he’ll be there next season, no other mugs will pay him a couple or grand a week to sit in the stand.

This made me think about both clubs.

Hearts outgoings are £1.4 million a month - £350k a week. Even with 20 donkeys on £6 a week, that’s £120k. Where does the other £230k go??? I know they do their own hospitality etc but £230k a week is a colossal figure.

Hibs are roughly £750k a month so £187k a week. A squad of 20 at around £3k a week average, so £60k. Obviously you have tax VAT etc, directors pay, East Mains and so On.

I know which club is better run form those basic sums.
To put it another way, at the start of this financial year Hibs had enough cash in hand to cover 45 weeks worth of staff costs if no other costs are considered. Hearts had enough to cover 3.75 weeks. Hearts other costs are significantly higher than ours as well.

So which club is best positioned to weather this storm?

We will struggle too. Every club will. We have FoH though and a history of banding together to save our club. Every chance that AB will come up with another loan as well to see us through.

When the chips are down, if they really do go down, we'll survive, they won't.

Additionally and at the risk of being morbid, a lot of owners are older and more vulnerable to covid19. Clubs who are quite reliant on one person may find it hard to survive if their owners are suddenly no longer around.
He`s the bloke I was talking about! They have FOH, we had Hands off Hibs where one of their most prolific goal scorers stood side by side with us

He has as much chance of joining MENSA as the elephant man had of joining the Chippendales! Or me being named slimmer of the year during the lockdown.

Kiwidoug is Shaun Lawson without the vocabulary. On a website full of zoomers he manages to stand out, which is something. Probably loves the attention.

Holy cow. I read that £1.4m a month and thought that can't be right, but when you look at their accounts, indeed their total costs for 2019 are nearly £15m p.a., so roughly £1.3m a month. Must be bigger in 2020. Astonishing.

Interesting that the article mentions that he is in talks about a "wage deferral". I wonder if revolutionary, ahead of the game Ann Budge has had to back track and is now offering defferals rather than wage cuts?

If we can play them this year in front of a crowd I'd agree.

Might reconsider the use of Murrayfield to cut down travel.
If the M8's considered a risk, shirley there's no chance that Hampden or Murrayfield will be considered safe.

Random nobodies is a perfect summation. The Natural Order game was on Sky yesterday & although it was only 2 years ago I had already forgotten RN's such as Godinho, Amankwaa & Randall. Amazing!

Might already have been posted, but what Gray says here flies in the face of what Budge is trying to claim. Hard to see how they can work well together as a 'task force':

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52344236

A total of 81% of clubs backed the proposal, with Dundee's belated change of heart allowing it to pass.
"The silent majority have carried the day," Hamilton Academical's Gray said.
"It's the clubs that voted 'no' that are the noisiest. And I'm looking at what their motives might be."

There would be no need for a "steering group" or "task force" if everyone agreed.

I mean we all have them, think Nelom for us for example. The difference being, our random nobodies pitch up, do nothing of note then quietly move on. Theirs arrive, do a weird interview where they talk about how small Hibs are, do nothing of note then move on to part time football or something. Utter weirdos

A guru? He's been predicting Hibs financial demise for about 15 years. The Bagwhan's followers saw through his bull in a shorter time.

The other difference is we don't go overboard about those type of signings &, as in your example, they're usually on fairly short contracts. Nelom was less than 1 year, Malaury Martin was 4!!
