Loving the moral outrage over there🤣 mass memory loss in regards to how they completely shafted Dundee in 2013,they Hearts as a club knew full well the trouble they were i but brassed it out to avoid administration that season and the 15 point penalty that incurred, this would have sent them down instead of Dundee. Also noticed they have a thread on naming their new stand, surely its got to be named the Money Pit.!!😁

I see on kickback they “would be happy with” Steve Robinson for their manager next year 😂 They really do have some ego to think that he will swap European football for the championship. Mental

Great. I really hope they can persuade Stendall to stay.

They also have players like Olly Lee to come back in the summer. Still got a year left on his deal. In current climate I can’t see anyone taking him off their hands.

They can forget about searching for a new manager. The best man for the job is already at the club.

Sadly I am sure I read somewhere that he has a get out clause if relegated. Hopefully he does not enforce it!

Stendel needs to stay, the captain should be going down with his ship 😁

Wonder what tripe they have in their team that have relegation clauses? Im guessing liam boyce is one of them, they surely can't afford to pay £6k a week

Them winning at Easter Road is still a complete kick in the gut. The warning signs where there though with performances against Hamilton and st Mirren:

Stendel will get a job because of Coronavirus: he won’t be at hearts though.

I’m afraid you’re wrong there my friend. What they will do is search far and wide before deciding the best man for the job is already at the club.

I hope he does, it would be known as the most expensive disaster in Scottish football 😂

Here’s what the Budgie said in a BBC interview in August 2016. Wonder what she thinks now

“Hearts owner Ann Budge believes there are twice the ideal number of senior clubs in Scotland.

Budge, who recently joined the Scottish Professional Football League's board, said: "I think 42 senior clubs is too many for Scotland.

You're looking at about half that number. “

They would need at the very least 75% of the top league to vote this through and it would simply never happen.
More like 90% the vote needs 11 - 1 to pass

Does anyone think that reconstruction can be voted through.
I'm assuming the fact Hamilton have been picked they are for reconstruction? Would be strange to vote against a motion you have worked on.
The way they are talking this is reconstruction for all leagues which can only mean more clubs in all divisions.

Thought she was going to burst into "the simple sword of truth and the trusty shield of British fair play" for a minute there.

Budge continues to be barefaced. If she just came out and said "we don't want to be relagated, please save us" then at least people could take her seriously.

Interesting, she doesn't mention her role in the 'taskforce" and the opportunity given by the SPFL to reconstruct the top flight. More bleating on about the injustice of it all and how the relegated teams have been shafted.

Increasingly looking like the SPFL have just said ....OK Anne, you go away and see what appetite there is for a restructure and we'll have a wee look at it ... knowing full well it's a lost cause.

Think Anne has just confirmed, they're going down.

Yes, they have handed the keys of the jail to the most dangerous criminal in there.

She will get her own people on the task force, she will control the narrative and the spin about any new setup, she has an army of media mouthpieces ready and willing to do her bidding, step forward Mr English, she can privately influence doubters with god knows what behind closed doors and when the final structure is presented to the public it will have all the bells and whistles you could wish for. Any club who thinks about rejecting it will be painted as Public enemy no 1.

For me, reconstruction is a done deal.

Would not be hearing a PEEP from her if Hearts had finished second bottom. She’s a bare faced lier saying she’s doing all this for the good of Scottish football

My god Budge. The season has finished and you finished bottom.
Not going down would be hugely unfair on every team ever relegated.
Trying to use the pandemic situation as a get out of jail free card is disgusting. All clubs are suffering financially not just yours.
Take your medicine and lets all keep our energy for more important things.

That statement suggests there's no serious drive towards restructure. If there was, you'd expect her to be more upbeat and positive and certainly not lashing out at the SPFL and bleating on about injustice and and righting wrongs. It was a rant and lash out from someone who knows this is now a done deal. Hearts are finished.

Thing is, if you HAD to pick a season where you were to be relegated this is probably the best one. God knows when next season will start, it will likely end up some sort of shortened season anyway, with or without reconstruction, and you could look all righteous saying you took one on the chin for the team.

Yep, time to resurrect Save Hearts In Trouble.

They can bake cakes again, if they can get flour. Could start inserting their small change into plastic farmyard animals again as well

No mention of legal action in that statement, seems like as expected that was all bluster.

“ I have said from the outset that it was imperative that we find a solution that ensures no club is penalised by relegation in a situation where the leagues cannot be finished

    She means Hearts.

We will continue to do so, working with other member clubs and supported by the SPFL, where required, to put through the changes needed to right the potential wrongs of relegation in this situation”

The only reason this is wrong through her eyes is because of who is bottom of the table. There would be no sympathy from Tynecastle towards any other club had they been in Hearts’ position. Not one.

While Hearts have not at this time been relegated, Partick Thistle and Stranraer have. This should not be happening and we will do everything in our power to find a solution with a positive outcome that works, not just for the 3 clubs in relegation spots, but for all of Scottish Football”

No, this is just for Hearts and she couldn’t give a flying toss for the other clubs.

I’m sure the majority of clubs won’t be falling for her pathetic crocodile tears.
