I am seriously proud to be a Hibby tonight. No solution could ever be perfect, but when it came to it we put the greater good ahead of self interest. And assuming that the European place goes to 4th place, if we won the cup we would be denied a place in Europe next season. I hope we get a chance to regret that part of it!

If we end up with games behind closed doors and if Sky demand a renegotiated tv deal (should finishing this season delays the start of next season or if we have a reformatted league) then that £4 million loss could be much worse than if just cut our loses now.

Dundee's stance is idiotic - what are they thinking is going to happen? There isn't a cost-neutral option, every club stands to lose money but practically every business in the country stands to lose money because of the situation.

Has anyone inside the Dens Park boardroom asked these straightforward questions:
1) do we realise the earliest we can start football matches again is 22 July (and that's best case)?
2) can we afford to stay afloat with no money coming in til late July?
If the answer to either is "no" then Dundee will go out of business before the next income
