So, that will be Hearts all but relegated

Liking the empty offer of league reconstruction as well.

Jambos Kickback will be a hoot these next couple of days.
Kickback is on meltdown. Blaming everyone but themselves.

    Best comments are:
    1. Take the SPFL to the cleaners legally and delay as long as we can
    2. Given Hibs will move down one place and lose price money surely they will vote against that.

    Relegation is coming....😂😂😂

Sounds like the only reason the top league isn’t being decided on just now is UEFA.
I agree, dont they need to inform UEFA of their decision first?

I hope hibs do the right thing and vote for an end now and then against reconstruction.

Any reconstruction talks will include colt teams for the rangers and Celtic should be knocking it back everytime until that idea is removed.

Points system SPFL are talking about moves us to finish 7th, if it meant them going down I’m sure we could club together for a whip round and make up the difference

They need 11 Premiership teams to vote in favour of reconstruction. There is next to no chance they could get those numbers.

Looking at that CWG it states "A furloughed employee can take part in volunteer work, if it does not provide services to or generate revenue for, or on behalf of your organisation"

I have a vested interest in this, as a voluntary treasurer of a charity that is planning to continue paying full salaries to our small number of staff and furloughing them to recoup 80% of our costs. There might be some small opportunities for some staff to volunteer, but my reading of what I saw previously on that page suggested they couldn't. What could they do that is not providing a "service" to the organisation?
    I see your problem.

I'm involved in a number of charities, and understand how so much of your activity (fundraising and service provision) will depend on voluntary work. I obviously don't know what kind of service or work your charity does, but I'm struggling to think of anything that could be done that isn't a "service". I have heard of some people saying things like "we can paint the office", but that, for me, would be a service that's actually saving the company money.

Taking the Hibs "phone calls" as an example, is there any scope for your furloughed staff to make calls to current donors and funders, as a goodwill action?

I'm not sure they have thought this through properly for charities (and neither had I, until your post )

Neil Doncaster says the position regarding the top flight is ‘particularly complicated’.

It’s not though. Celtc are champions because no one can realistically catch them, and Hearts are bottom no matter how you calculate it.
It’s just bleating from the Huns and diet Huns that is causing an issue.

It’s a shame Hearts couldn’t look past their own self-serving agenda at a time of crisis, but there we are. I think most of us realised that their desperate attempts to make McCrae’s battalion the core of their brand was a cover for their moral deficiencies rather than evidence that they are in any way special.

Jambos Kickback reckon we'll vote to keep Hearts up because we'd lose two home games against them. Swap Hearts for Dundee United and we'd probably lose 4k max away fans over those two games. Probably less than £200k. We'll be just fine thanks.

    Looks like a stitch up.

There you go vote on it

If you want it to finish it on average points, no play offs

    We might consider reconstruction

But that's another vote you need 75% for

So onus handed neatly over to the clubs, better have good lawyers for this, otherwise its down to the clubs to recognize that this is a change in the rules, with self preservation top of the agenda, looks like Championship football next season.

I think I am done with football to be honest
Onus handed neatly over to the clubs? Who does he think should decide?

There's another one going radio about Hamilton not having to play a play-off.

    Play-offs = matches.

Matches = things we're not allowed to do.

Is there something complicated in there that I'm not seeing?

He’s not saying the positions are complicated because it’s actually less complicated than Patrick and they are relegating them. He is saying it’s complicated because they have to work with UEFA before calling it. When they do call it though, Hearts will be down.

If Hibs were in this position who would honestly being saying to themselves, "Yip, we deserve to go down"? I'm sure I would. There might be a few with an outside hope of reconstruction, not me but I'm sure most of us would be resigned to the fact that over the season, over the calendar year, by points gained and by average points gained relegation is what is deserved.

I'm sure a lot of Hearts fans are the same but Hats off to the bams on Kickback and the Loons threatening legal action on their board who cannot accept the footballing reality that their performances where just not good enough. Great entertainment. I wonder if the documentary will show any kind private meetings whereby we get a glimpse into the mind-set at the moment. A bunch of King Canutes.

Hibs would vote to keep them up.... not that it will come to that. Hibs as a company benefit from having them in the league

A personal message from me to all gods and all other things holy.

Please do not let me die yet.

I want to live long enough to find out what is said on Kickback as they go down, realise they are going into administration whilst in the Championship and get a 15 point deduction that puts them down another level.

Then you can have my wretched soul because I'll die laughing anyway.

    Here's another zoomer

I will happily donate money if it means mounting a huge court case against the SPFL if there is an attempt to relegate us. we should be trying to bankrupt the league if this happens.

If it does happen we should ban away fans completely when we return to the SPL for any teams that vote for us to go down. There should also be a refusal to attend away matches from all Hearts fans.
Come on guys, it's someone from on here isn't it?

That's what annoys me - they'll forever say they were cheated into relegation, despite being the worst team in the league for the last year.
    Who cares tho?

Do we? Having them with their bigger budget competing with us for Euro spots next season? Does it benefit us to have reconstruction to save them? Sharing league tv money with an extra two teams?
