I'd doubt that even Benny had £28m lying about 😆
I'd put money on either FOH or Budge coming out with the following " Donations to FOH have increased over these troubling times "

Let’s not forget the digs she’s having at us in there. Mentioning clubs with wealthy owners and basically saying the FOH model restricts their ability to invest.

She truly is clueless and has wasted £30 million in the last 5 years. What a calamity.

I just had a look over there. Apparently, changing your mind because circumstances have changed is a change of direction. But most definitely not changing your mind.

I'm obviously not a visionary like the budgie or I would understand their logic.

Well Hearts used to have a wealthy owner too. She’s just not as wealthy now as she would have been a few years ago.

Hearts haven’t furloughed their players yet. According to the latest statement she claims they are planning to do that and that negotiations are ongoing.

    Fake News.

Banderson tells me Hearts are always ahead of the pack and lead where others follow.

The fact of the matter is that she panicked when she saw the loss of income, jumped in with both feet and sent letters out to the squad telling them to take a 50% pay cut or leave.

If she'd waited a few days for the government help scheme to come out and had consultations with the players first of all rather than "being honest" like she says she was then none of the bad publicity would have happened and she might have got the squad on side rather than having to hastily back track now that they've rebelled against her coat cutting.

It's hard to imagine that she didn't see this as an opportunity for getting rid of a large amount of the squad who aren't good enough.

    FoH already have.

Edit. There's been lots of folk on here saying for years 'donations will dry up now'. The thing is some might have fallen off but overall they're still going strong.

The straw clutching over on JKB has gotten worse since that daily record article today.

Now a few can see that there is "mood music" at the spfl that hearts are going down

(i think the exact mood music is,that hearts are going down, going down, hearts are going down)

The strongest argument hearts appear to have left is "you can't relegate hearts because, err, partick thistle!"

Hopefully they can draw each other in the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup and hold a candle lit vigil for their clubs at the same time. None of the other 30 clubs spread across the top 3 leagues are going to care one single jot about that outcome and will be most thankful for the prize and TV money following a swift decision by the Scottish Footballing authorities to call the tables as they stand.

Yeah, if anything, I can imagine the motivation to try to keep their club alive is even stronger now, as it is with us.

If this horrible club had 1 ounce of pride or morals, a percentage of the FOH money should be going to pay back creditors from the last time they went bust. I think it’s a disgrace that both Hearts & The Rangers can start again debt free, without a care in the world 🌍 regarding who they’ve shafted along the way. Why didn’t the creditors keep hold of both stadium’s, and both clubs had to pay a rental until full debts were paid back? Trying to run a business is financially very tough & stressful. It looks like both clubs are sticking 2 fingers up at everyone again!

It would have to be 100%, for about 25 years.

Sadly, it happens all the time in the commercial world. Businesses get into difficulties, arrangements are made with creditors, and they start again. People get shafted, but (in theory) the greater good is served by protecting jobs and the public purse.

    See also Debenhams.

They didn't get to where they are today by changing their mind.

Then again many of them don't have a mind of their own to change.

    Pleasing, as they say.

Success for some teams is not finishing in the relegation zone.

If ever I need cheering up, having a wee look at JKB always puts a smile on my face.

Even given their trials and tribulations just now, they are an amusing lot.

There are a few twitchy ********s over on JKB given the rumours today of the SPFL ending the season now and relegating them because they are bottom of the league.

All kinds of excuses over there why the league should not stop on merit now.

Think he meant if your top if the League you should be champions however if your bottom you should not you not be rewarded by escaping relegation.Seems fair to me the Jambos relegated as they deserve to be.

The SFA want the league finished and new one to start in August
New deal with Sky Sports £150 million over 5 years £30 million per year
Losing end of season money to BT or BBC is insignificant
Deluded Hearts thinking it’s to accommodate the old firm are wrong .Also no other team in SPL will vote for reconstruction diluting there cut by £600 k per season
I’m very hopeful league will be ended Hearts down Arabs up.

We all know that they're most definitely immoral but they do have pride, buckets of it ................................. I'm just completely and utterly ****ed if I know where it's coming from, though !. But then again, the Kray twins had pride so why shouldn't Hearts have it !. It's the kind of 'Pride' that allows Budgie to say -

'While some clubs choose to pay lower basic wages topped up by bonus payments, other clubs pay higher basic wages and make less use of bonuses. Hearts fits into this latter category which, in this current situation, means we have a bigger challenge'

Dunno about others but I get a sneering, 'looking down the nose at people with utter contempt' in that statement !. Now, for a club that only recently avoided total extinction, I'd have thought the prudent way to start the 'clean sheet' that they got - from the con-job they managed with the creditors - would've been low-wages and high win-bonuses (Yeah, I know - they'd have saved a ****ing fortune this season !) but them being them just couldn't bring themselves to do that !. They just couldn't bear to run the risk of looking like a 'Small club' - no, not them, with them it's 'Johnny Big-Baws' or nothing ! So once again the gamble was made to employ players they just couldn't afford (in all reality, to gain the upper hand in the derby - they certainly didn't do it with serious aspirations to topple Septic !) and once again, they're a baw-hair away from administration !. This time will be different I believe - the last time they got a lot of support from neutrals but I can't see that being the case this time - 'Fool me once, shame on you .... etc, etc' !

I think you’ve hit the nail on the preverbal head there. 600k is a **** lot of money for clubs and why would anyone vote for league reconstruction if it means less money!

Hopefully decision will be made by the end of this week!
