This is a very decent game but there’s more goals in this for both teams

    2-1 Hibs @ HT

Good game. Terrific strike by Docherty to open the deadlock but our defending for their equaliser was abysmal. Our defence is the weakest area in the team. Can’t see to hold onto leads. Jackson grabs a goal just before HT but you can tell Jack Ross didn’t look pleased.

Just hope 2nd half we tighten up defensively.

    Good psychological time to score.

I am not sure when a bad psychological time to score would be?

well at least we can hold them at bay for 15 mins this time

We’re the better team that half and deserve to be in front.

Looks like we have the wind in the 2nd half so hopefully the 3 points are ours.

  6. #245
This would be a massive win if we can just see it out

Well worth our lead at HT. Really impressive performance against a form team and in poor conditions. Only frustration is that it should be more comfortable. Well on top and another failure to defend collectively and individually has cost us a goal.

Docherty goal was a peach, Jackson also finished his well after a good delivery from Newell.

We’ve played well. They are getting into dangerous areas though. As has been the case for most of the season we were asleep defensively for their goal, Slivka and Newell standing still watching the ball roll back across into the six yard box is criminal defending. Docherty and Jackson been our best performers.

Edit: Newell actually has nothing to do with it. All Slivka.

Playing really well. Don't think its fair to blame Slivka for Killie goal, great finish by Burke after couple attempts to clear.
Would rather look at the positives and there are plenty

Course it is he’s call watching with no awareness of where Burke is

Docherty is our biggest priority in the summer. Essential we do a deal to keep him. I was thinking Kamberi and a fee for docherty but now I’d happily do a straight swap.

Nullify Brophy and they struggle to create. He's the focal point.

    Absolute peach by Docherty.

Reminded me.of Jordan Jones vs US up there last year

    Gotta love Chris Sutton commentary

Boyle gets taken out for about the 5th time

Free-flowing, attacking football. What’s not to like? (Well aye, the defence), but hey. Enjoyable being a Hibby right now!
Spot on. Frailties still obvious but this is so much better than Heckingbottom's time.

Is it still mathematically possible for Hibs to win the league?

We’re going to struggle to keep him if he keeps playing this well. Step above the rest of our midfield.

I hope Kamberi played well today when he came on as it’ll keep SG interested in him and improve our chances of getting Docherty, if he fancies a move.

When the first ball comes in, he actually looks over his shoulder and sees Burke. He knows he is there but just seems to freeze.

Doubt Kamberi will come into the equation. I'd pay the £800,000 they're asking for. You will recoup £2,000,000 easily enough.

Definitely the better team. Defence needs to hold tight.
