Unless the old Health & Safety concerns come into play then the game will be on.

Can't post a photo from my phone but the sun is splitting the trees like a summers day in Alloa at the moment. Literally not even a breeze.😎

The Indodrill has a problem with drainage does it not? If there is torrential rain there could be an issue. I hope they get the pitch inspection done early doors.
Kinda happy i never changed my ticket to the uncovered terracing now :)

Looks like the wind is now certain to be absolutely horrendous on Sunday. I'd imagine a risk from flying debris (roof tiles etc) could see it postponed.

Saying gusts of 65 possibly up to 80. I have my reservations it may be called off.

Hopefully they make a decision as early as possible before people have started travelling.
If there is a doubt any qualified referee can deem the conditions unplayable. So in theory they could have a local ref there first thing rather than waiting on the match officials to arrive.

Only ever not made it into work once in Edinburgh due to weather (buses cancelled in 2010). And left work early 2015/16? Again due to public transport cancellations the weather was foul (snow)."We know the people who have invested so far are simple fans." Vladimir Romanov - Scotsman 10th December 2012

The gazebo could face a stern test of its sturdiness in the winds forecast, but the rest of the ground provides no shelter from wind. If game goes ahead it’s not going to pretty in gales, heavy rain and an artificial pitch. A classic Scottish Cup tie - can’t wait

Could be a test for the temporary scaffolding they use for TV guys.
Don’t think they will be using a piper on the Murrayfield roof on Saturday...

There is likely to be official advice not to travel unless it is an emergency. That would be a significant factor is deciding to postpone the match.

Game should be on, A bit of wind and rain, the magic of the cup. BSC will absolutely want that game played as a midweek match means their players will beed time off work etc. Not to mention the BBC might not be able to show a rescheduled match.

Bit of a nightmare if it is postponed. Especially for BSC as these lads will have regular jobs. Imagine having to put a holiday form in because you're playing Hibs on a Tuesday night
