2996 Hibs fans in attendance. The cordoned off areas looked quite big right enough, but that seems a pretty low “capacity” for the Roseburn Stand on a derby.
Their stadium capacity is 19,852 as per the current safety certificate) and I’m sure the Roseburn holds 3400. So the attendance was 19,313 so add the 400 and your about at Capacity!

No one has been bottom on Christmas Day and not been relegated since Hibs in 2011/12. Lovely stat.

Although I still don’t think they’ll go down, unfortunately. Budge and the benefactors are going to throw all sorts of cash at it in January to try and fix the squad.

22 games without a Hibs victory. Imagine that! It was a horrible time to be a Hibee and was preceded by another period when we went something like 17 games without a victory. Apologies if the facts are not 100% correct as I've erased the mental scars and don't want to reopen them.

A grassy type pitch, a press box, umbrellas for the meejah boys, a directors box, fitted out function suites, working escalator, some hammerite to paint the rusting steps, more seats to get them above 19250.

Just a few ideas off the top of my head.

Did theyget the escalator? More money well spent.

I think one of Hearts biggest dangers is thinking they just need to win a game to get that monkey off their back and think they’ve turned a corner.

They’ll win a game soon enough, it’s inevitable. That’s only one win though, they’ve got far bigger and deeper routed problems than just winning one game.

They’re not in a false position.

Thought that might have been the case.

Such a shame they're still singing about historical streaks due to the current shambles 😂

Reading the Ulche thread, thought I would check the length of contract their stars have. Great reading if you're a Hibee.

    Crocked Naismith May 2023

Think a lot of players will be hoping that they have relegation clauses.

I said that to my lad yesterday. His point of view is that Hibs have the upper hand even though one of his early derbies was a certain cup final. He has missed a few in the last 8 or 9 years and he has probably got a winning record when watching the Derby. They don't know they are born the younger generation and it explains why I was still concerned yesterday until about 88 mins when he thought it was a schoosh

To be honest, that’s not a bad looking core of their team. Surprising they are doing so bad.

Last two seasons second bottom of the SPL finished Partick with 33 points 2017/18 and then St Mirren on 32 points last season. So, going by previous two seasons that mob need another twenty one points with eighteen games left to go to possibly finish up in the relegation play off. Herr Stendel will need to work a small miracle with that team to win twenty odd points

from the early 80s through to 1994 we won 3 derbies out of 45...

    Shudder.

still, over the last five years or so we’ve made a start in chipping away at their derby record. another four decades or so should do it

We've won 9 league derbies there since season 89/90 and in that time we've only scored more that 2 goals twice (0-3 and 4-4). We've won 6 league derbies there since 2005/6 season.

They have only 13 games before the split, 5 of thise games are Aberdeen twice, Celtic, Rangers and Hibs. I think they still have to play Hamilton again.
I Think they will scrape out of it but its certainly squeaky bum time

As things stand, they're looking up at 11 teams who are better than them. Don't think that's going to be changing.

Anyone in need of a laugh look at @hearysrant on twitter.

    It Starts with

🧵 | As the year comes to a close, it’s time to look back on some of the utterly mindless things that have happened at Heart of Midlothian FC in 2019. Let’s go. 👇🏼

We built a Japanese website to meet the *massive demand* for Hearts house-coats in East Asia.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

In 2014 I’m sure we literally just had to win one game for a good few weeks and it just never came. Not a good place to be.

Pep Guardiola’s side signed the ‘Japanese Messi’ from Gamba in August 2019 and, thanks to a special relationship between the Premier League Champions and Edinburgh’s oldest football club, founded in 1874, loaned him to Scottish Premiership side Hearts.

At Hearts, Meshino will have the opportunity to further develop his skills on the pitch while impressing the fans with his ability. He will learn, grow and prosper in Edinburgh and it is an honour to have this special talent in Scotland, and at Hearts.

The above is from hearts Japanese website😶
