Lots of MPs standing down from Labour and the Tories. Interestingly, a disproportionate number of women - I think I heard that around 40% of the number were female- with many citing the violent and misogynistic abuse they were facing, usually from faceless cowards on social media.
Turnover of mp’s has risen massively over the last 20 years. Lots more volatility since the financial crash.

After backing every man and their dog against Boris remainer Ruth Davidson has now backed him as the "man to get Brexit done" (apologies for the Daily Heil link).

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...le-Brexit.html

"The people of this country are quite frankly sick to the back teeth of politicians fighting between themselves while ignoring the instructions they were given. Scotland voted to stay part of the UK and the UK voted to leave the EU."

After being told that voting to stay in the UK was the only way to stay in the EU

WTF? Now that she's not getting her new job, is she looking for her old one back? Her poor family.

A former Labour donor has pledged £5,000 to try to help Ross Thomson retain the Aberdeen South seat for the Conservatives.
The donation from property developer Alan Massie was registered on October 9 and a spokesman for Mr Thomson confirmed that it was for his campaign for re-election.
Mr Massie, a director of Carlton Rock who now lives in Jersey, was previously one of Labour’s top private donors.

should have saved his money, the baw groping sexual deviant has resigned

Scottish Conservative MP Ross Thomson is to stand down after being accused of sexually assaulting a Labour MP in a Commons bar.

Mr Thomson said he had made the "hardest decision of my life" not to contest the seat for Aberdeen South at the general election.
Labour MP Paul Sweeney had said he reported Mr Thomson to Westminster's standards watchdog following the alleged incident last October.

he was an utter fud as an MP anyway, just like every other scottish tory MP

I'm surprised that the Mail ran with it, considering the (now realised) potential for damage to an arch-Johnsonite.

sorry didn't see it mentioned, i'm a tad behind the goss the now anyways, turns out one of his last lies before he leaves is telling the public he felt he had to resign, not quite true, turns out he only resigned after the chairman of the Aberdeen tory association told him he wouldn't be signing his nomination papers, utter pleb of a man that done absolutely nothing for his constituency, unless they asked him to stand up in the HoC now and then, point fingers at the SNP benches and call them bad, he's certainly gonna miss the Hoc Bar, at least other male MP's will feel a little safer at their workplace

They wouldn't have reported it if he wasn't stepping down. Now they can twist it into a story of Boris Johnson acting swiftly.

Rees-Mogg with the quickest of apologies after coming out with the below in regards to Grenfell,

"And I think if either of us were in a fire, whatever the fire brigade said, we would leave the burning building. It just seems the common sense thing to do.

Have to laugh, Derek Stillie (yep the ex keeper) is standing for the Tories in Ayrshire, Ruth and co thought up the catchy hashtag #safepairofhands , quite the backfire off of that one given Ross Thomson's hand management while in Westminster

Yes, so far this week our friends in the Conservative Party have:

Apologised for saying the victims of Grenfell Tower fire should have ignored fire brigade warnings and taken their chances.

Apologised for saying people on benefits should be "put down".

Refused to apologise for doctoring a video of Keir Starmer answering Brexit questions.

    This is brilliant

Boris visited our village and asked us what we needed ,

1”we have surgery but no doctor."

BJ then got out his mobile after speaking for a while told us not worry, a doctor will be here later ,he then asked “anything else “
2,told him that we had no cell phone connection !

Cummings has correctly judged that the only way for Johnson to get through an entire election campaign without embarrassing himself answering a question is to ensure that no-one ever manages to ask him one. Shirley the televised leaders' debate, if he turns up, will be a car crash.
