I want to compile a playlist if songs about, or majorly featuring, Edinburgh.
So far I've got 3:
Edinburgh Man by The Fall
Edinburgh by The Lake Poets
Streets of Edinburgh by the twins.
What others are there? Any genre.

Don't know if this counts but Shake Those Windows by Athlete begins with the lyric
"Lives in Edinburgh
Just across the road"

Costafine Town by Splinter was about Corstorphine apparently
Edit...I see they were from South Shields so maybe it was a wind-up....sorry!

Rebellion - Grave Digger
(it's probably a stretch to say it's a song about Edinburgh but the city is mentioned in a wider context, it's a song worth listening to just to tick off every metal cliche as it happens).

Edinburgh Man by The Fall is the one.
Smith lived in Leith for a couple of years. Low profile!

Thanks everyone.
I now have an Edinburgh playlist, apart from Pigs for Slaughter which I couldn't find on Spotify.
I also spent an inordinate amount of time searching for NWPA when it's actually NWRA.

I saw a blue umbrella in Princes Street Gardens
Heading out west for the Lothian Road
An Evening News stuffed deep in his pocket
Wrapped up in his problems to keep away the cold
High up on the parapet
A Scottish piper stands alone
And high on the wind
The highland drums begin to roll
On Charlotte Street
I take A walking stick from my hotelThere is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Not really what you're after but any excuse to dig this out. In my defence it's about Edinburgh, Leith in particular.
