Former flat mate with our new boy Newell. May happen.

Maybe my Forde info is incorrect and the winger concerned is Jon Taylor. My source is a family member who has inside info (very reliable) so perhaps they have got the player incorrect. Unlikely we'll sign three wingers from Rotherham. I was told we'd been watching Forde since Stubbs era and he then signed him for Rotherham.
this is just an agent offering him to hibs.

All these rumours of wingers makes me wonder if we've had offers for Boyle, particularly from Oz, and he and his young family might fancy the lifestyle.

Jon Taylor. Been offered to Hibs. Nothing further yet. At least he won't need a chauffeur.
Hoping there is some truth in this. Fast and effective ball carrier. Excellent at getting sides ‘up the park’ after sustained periods of soaking up pressure.

Would provide excellent competition for Boyle on the right hand side 👍🏼

More wingers with pace who can beat a man is never a bad thing.

Are all new players this season going to be Rotherham, Ex Rotherham or Yorkshire men 😅

Makes a change from 30 year old ex-Celtic players.

This. If we are going to start signing players - note signing, not loaning - in their mid-20s, with good years in front of them, and potential sell-on value, then I won't be complaining if they all talk like Hovis adverts.

Me too. I'm not anti Yorkshire, lovely part of the country, just find it amusing 😏

If that happens we might see a return of the old (very old) button-down flat-caps we wore in the 60's & early 70's. Much like the Peaky Blinder ones but in Hibs colours.

Yeah, but don't forget Sevco founder Charles Green's statement " Yorkshire men have big hands "

We were all too predictable last season with little pace in the team. We all know Gray and Stevebson are good solid pros but not the best attacking wingbacks in the world. Could be we're looking to play with wide pacy players and stay solid at the back 4-3-3/4-5-1/4-2-3-1, 3 systems that interchange and are very versatile.

Much as I like Boyle and think he’s a very good player for us. I don’t think he’s good enough for someone like Celtic.

I hope he’s here a while yet, but I wonder if his improvement is starting to level out and he won’t get much better than he currently is. I hope the season before last wasn’t his purple season as he was poor up to his injury last season. With mitigating circumstances of the shambles under Lennon and being shoe-horned up front.

I honestly think Heckingbottom is a superior coach to Lennon, there's still improvement to be made.

I heard a wee while back that Boyle had had a few offers from all over Asia, apparently on good money as well.

Can Boyle get offers without the teams talking to Hibs first?

I'm pretty certain that's part of Hecky's roll at the club.

Yeah, and a slice of that money to could be used to get more new players to earn us a crust or two later.

Not until he is into the last 6 months of his contract.

Hopefully we'll use that money to recruit a new batch of replacements.

If we're successful, we might get seeded in the Europa Cup.

Boyles Mrs plays for Hibs ladies and they’ve not long had a baby.. not sure they’ll want that much upheaval.

Most people would probably say Jonny Hayes isn't good enough for Celtic but he is there and got quite a few games last season.

This. And Boyle is massively under rated also.

He might not be the most technically gifted player but he causes issues, he's as quick as Burke with a better end product.

Is that the guy they were all frothing at the mouth over that was going to be the final piece of the title winning jigsaw?
