I would imagine, if untrue, Kenny Millar or whoever runs the twitter these days would be able to kill the rumours easily. They’re quite active on Twitter.

However someone could get round this by buying the club and inheriting Flo!

With the club getting sold, we’re waiting till Griffiths has signed before unveiling the kits

Well done. He would be much better having a season at Motherwell then following McGinn down south. Rather than sitting in Celtic reserves

Great shout by the lad and his agent, maybe there's more cash in it for them ultimately if he just cuts out the feeder club and eventually moves straight to Southampton

Looks like decent money for Motherwell but wanted to pay the laddie peanuts, typical skinflint Celtic.

So effectively paying a chunk of his transfer fee from his own wages.

Seen somewhere that they offered him 10k plus a week.

Have they ever thought maybe he doesn’t want to sign for Celtic regardless of the money. Arrogant ********s

The offered him 4 a week. That’s plenty. He was on about £350 before.

I hope he rejected them, because he wouldn’t get enough first team football.

It would do no harm if he stayed at Well for another season and got a big move down south.

Its not plenty if someone in England will pay him double that. Anyway it's good to see Celtc with more egg on their face.

Definitley , the figures of 10k and a suggestion that its peanuts of a wage is crazy.

Haven't a clue but it looks like it wasn't enough to get him to sign.

BIG risk for the player and Motherwell, a bad injury or dramatic loss of form could reduce his price and salary, i hope it pays of both as it did with us and SJM

I'm all for young scottish talent snubbing Celtic and the The Rangers for going down south or abroad and love Celtic getting egg on their face. To be honest though in this case it sounds like either the player, the agent or both are being greedy. What strikes me is he has had half of a good season. Personally I can't beleive he is going for 3+ million on the back of it - that's crazy. Part of me wants him to go on, be a great player, bypass Celtic and make a fortune down south. Another part of me thinks it would serve him right turning it down then be poor next season and playing for Falkirk in 3 years time

To be fair the boy scored 16 league goals from midfield in 30 appearances in his first season. That's pretty much unheard of.
