Billy, no-one is irreplaceable, if Heckinbottom wants to build a team to at least compete for top 3 and he signs players to replace others, legends such as Gray, Stevenson, McGregor then so be it, if it moves the club forward then Im all for it. If he can sign better than Stevenson or create competition then thats a good thing surely, gonna be an interesting season 🇳🇬👍

Don't agree, we need a left back that can offer more going forward. Lewis has been a great servant to the club and will forever be a legend. However, if we are looking to challenge for silverware/europe next year left back is a position where we can strengthen.

The left back position is isn’t one we need to prioritise; lewy is far better than he gets credit for and Mackie looks a good back up.

My point is Lewis Stevenson will not be dislodged easily anytime soon

Players come players go and Managers keep picking him they find it impossible to drop him

Bring In replacements back ups he will see them all off

Sean Mackie is a suitable back up for him

Left back is not a priority just now

Agree all depends on the formation I suppose

Need the midfield and forwards to help out as well

I suppose that might be one of the reasons Hecky has moved Flo back to be almost a full back at times

It will be interesting to see how PH sets up

There has to be more players coming in, we need strikers for a start. Also expect another one or two players to leave as well. After all we have to make room for incomers.

Although I dont think LB is the most urgent position to strengthen, I do think that Hecky will be looking at both full back positions, particularly because of the type of football he wants us to play.

Like someone correctly mentioned above they were both caught out a bit last season, particularly Gray at RB
