This signing absolutely came out of nowhere! Wasn’t reported anywhere that we were in for him. Reading the Rotherham fans forum, they are a little disappointed that he’s left them.
That’s now 3 players in - Allan, Jackson & Newell. Personally would like to see a GK (if Marciano leaves), RB, 2 new midfielders & 2 strikers and I think we are set.
Does anyone know when the players report back for pre-season?

Be interesting to see how Heckingbottom sets up once he has all his signings in the door. Dont know if he is gonna go with one up top and 2 wide forwards with a midfield 3 behind them , or 2 up front with a 4 in the middle.

Don't agree, we need a left back that can offer more going forward. Lewis has been a great servant to the club and will forever be a legend. However, if we are looking to challenge for silverware/europe next year left back is a position where we can strengthen. Originally Posted by MSK

Billy, no-one is irreplaceable, if Heckinbottom wants to build a team to at least compete for top 3 and he signs players to replace others, legends such as Gray, Stevenson, McGregor then so be it, if it moves the club forward then Im all for it.
