I see Effe’s brief time with Derby is coming to an end, no longer term contract to be offered apparently.

It's not the colour of the grass that counts, it's the colour of the money.

We do encourage departing players to show ambition and go down South. Nothing wrong in believing in your own ability. He was good (excellent) for us and we were very good for him.
Great to attract and retain such talent as long as we did."We know the people who have invested so far are simple fans." Vladimir Romanov - Scotsman 10th December 2012
"Romanov was like a breath of fresh air - laced with cyanide." Me.

Would love him back, can’t imagine it will happen. Derby are a strong side but I’m surprised that Efetobore couldn’t force his way into the sqaud.

As much as I loved Efe I'm not sure if I'd want l him back. Maybe if his wage demands were reasonable but we have so many right footed central defenders I don't think it would be sensible to bring him back on (presumably) one of our biggest wages.

Outstanding player , but I reckon he'll move somewhere where it's good money, relaxed atmosphere and good weather, or upcoming, high paying Asian leagues. Or Sunderland, given Jack Ross' scouting network.

Can’t see him coming back, we have a lot of centre half’s of s good standard now.
Be hard to justify his wage when we already have
Jackson
Porteous
Hanlon
McGregor
Heard that the young centre half Sadiki will be one of the next ones through too.

Saw the thread title and immediately thought ….. there's only one f in Efe
This is how it feels

Wouldn't complain if he returned. But if Porteous is well and truly over his injury and its not going to be a long term problem we are well covered at centre half and any money we might have spent on Efe would be far better utilised elsewhere on the park.
