Perhaps he would want to leave rather than being binned?
I don’t think we’ll bin him unless we get McNulty. Play him in the right position and give him some service he’ll be fine.

Not a rumour, but I saw Mulumbos loan spell at Kilmarnock finished. Not sure he will play much at Celtic.

Any takers for a season loan if possible? Could be the defensive mid we need to partner Mallan.

Always rated Molomba, would be a good signing

Agreed, Mamango would be an excellent addition.

With Clarke leaving Killi he's surely less likely to go back. We'd probably be willing to cover more of his wake. Personally think it would be a very good signing if possible.

Mulumbu is exactly what we need after losing Milligan and Bartley

I’m not convinced. I thought in the last game against Killie there was too many times that Omeonga was running away from him, didn’t look like he still had the legs. Definitely a couple of years ago but don’t think he has the energy anymore.

Heard we are looking at Adam Lundkvist at Houston Dynamo.....

Sometimes I wonder if we can do better than Lewis, but for me it’s not just his ability we would miss.

His passion, will to win, attitude and just getting what it means to be a hibs player would be tough to lose. He is a real driving force and need players like that especially in derbies etc

I know we have been signing some older players recently, but I rather we got them in before they were dead! ;)

I agree but if we had the chance of a better left back than Lewis than we should absolutely bring them in, no room in football for sentiment it’s all about improving

Thought Mulumbu was the best player on the park that day ....

He showed enough in his time here to merit a deal and that goal against raith was sublime. Should never have been allowed to leave!

Good player and wouldn’t say no to signing him but the common consensus was that we needed energy and mobility in the midfield. Would need to build the midfield around him and surround him with energy.

I think that will be sorted over the summer. Not that I’m hoping it’s the case I just don’t think he will be in outfield first choice next season.
We’ve not had a return of goals like Mallan’s from midfield for years ... probably since Pat McGinlay ... not easy to find goal scoring midfielders on our budget

Not read the whole thread but I heard Lawrence Shankland was signing. No idea if this is correct but apparently the person who passed it on claimed it was from a good source.
Done deal I’ve been told. Will be announced once the early bird deadline has passed.

I saw him in two games against Dundee United. The first game he looked unplayable as Ayr won 4-1 I think. The second game United won and he looked like a totally different player

I’m really not convinced about Shankland although his record speaks for itself.

Seems to have went off the boil since January.

I’ve heard otherwise and he wants to stay up here as he’s built up a lot of clients in his other job and wants to continue that if possible too.

I’ll try to find out on this. Good friends with a current player at Ayr and see what he’s got to say about it 🤷🏻*♂️

Kirk Broadfoot told me at the end of last season that McGeouch had signed a pre contract for Blackburn and Jordan Jones was leaving Killie last summer so sometimes even players get it wrong!

    Noted.

You might want to review your contacts😋

Mine at Ayr is100%, but that obviously doesn’t mean that he knows about everyone else’s situation.

It’ll only be what he knows and has been told 😉
