I'd add a pacy winger to that list. Losing Boyle and having Agyepong unavailable has cost us.
Barker would be fantastic, not everyone's cup of tea but I thought he was looking fantastic at ER

Would love to see Barker back at us. I think he would do well coming back here in his final year at Man City and put himself in the shop window for a permanent move somewhere. Last thing he needs is a move to a championship club and sit on the bench for most of the season. Come up here, play 30 games, grab a handful of goals and assists and make a highlight reel for yourself son.

Also would love to see us go for Chris Cadden, I think he's a cracking potential replacement for David Gray or option when he's injured, I know he's more of a winger/wing back than an actual right back but he has an engine on him and reckon he's the exact type of signing we should be making. If we have to pay the 250k development fee then I say go for it.

Is Cadden that good? Seems to have been on the go for ages but never massively stood out.

Probably be a good signing to make as he is young, knows the league and has good physical attributes.

Just wondering how good is he?

I work with a couple of Motherwell fans and they don't rate him as highly as the likes of Turnbull Hastie etc. Saying all he can do is run in a straight line. They aren't bothered he looks like leaving.

He’s very versatile and not got a position nailed down since the young guys have came through at Motherwell. I think he would be a very good signing and probably needs a change of scenery and a specific position.

That would be a good move for him, and a great signing for county.

That was my sort of view. Think his main attributes would be his physicality.

The sort of energy and power I imagine Heckingbottom will want in his midfield and will have the understanding to tuck in if played on the wing. Only this is as an attacking player I’m not convinced how creative he is, something Heckingbottom has said needs to improve.

The Highland scenery, friendly people and dolphins in the Moray Firth. Barts would love it there...

Why wouldn't it be? Week in week out football, probably a decent enough wage if McGregor has anything to do with it, beautiful place to live for a few years to see out your career?

I've no inside info, that's my take on it.

They played in the same team for 2 years so you would imagine so.

He could quite easily, but what level would he be at? He wouldn't go to the championship I don't think. It's too quick for a guy in his thirties who isn't exactly mobile at the best of times.

    League 1? Lower?

That was his original intent last year but as Jonesy says his options may now be limited & like Fonts he may enjoy the Scottish lifestyle.

I would be surprised if he stays north, he’s got other ventures outside football etc. Good luck wherever he ends up and hopefully he gets on the pitch next week for a massive reception from the support.

Signed for Rangers from Liverpool for a development fee. Is he not the boy Allan nailed in the 5-5 game?
