Surprised he didn't ask if any of them were Celtic supporters, or do you think that would have no bearing on proceedings?
Some of the juror list has been made public, clearly no Rangers connections:

    Mr William Orange
    Mr Edward Bear
    Mr Ian Paisley
    Mrs F T Pope
    Miss Nigella Spackman
    Mr Derry Swalls
    Mr A Goram
    Mr A Goram

There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Hope all the witnesses have had the perjury law and consequences explained to them. There's a need for more honesty than in a post-match interview with Chick Young.

I am sure Uncle Walt, Sir David and The Glib and shameless liar won't have colluded to get their stories straight.

Of course, this happens in all trials. Up to the lawyers to catch them out.

Always wondered how Perry Mason won all his cases.

Reading the indictment this seems to wholly be about (our hero) CW pretending to have the dough to buy the Huns and cover their liabilities in the first place?

Don't see how we're going to get much juiciness about the dodgy goings on, Sevco switcheroo, 5 way agreements etc. Sounds a bit anti-climactic tbh.

Not so sure.....James Doleman has just tweeted an apparent discrepancy in Smith's recollection of a board meeting where he said that he was only there to discuss football matters but the minutes has him saying that " Administration would be a shambles"

15 people from Glasgow and surrounding areas being randomly picked, I'm sure a few of them have leanings towards both clubs, this trial should be no where near Glasgow high court, the trial should have been held at Edinburgh high court instead.
    100% in agreement ! Couldn't Whyte's defence-team have asked for another location ?

'Smith says no discussion of administration by directors while he was present. Only at meeting to report on football matters'

Minutes state "Mr Smith says the prospect of administration would be a shambles"

'Witness says no recollection of discussion'

Ernest Walter Saunders (born 21 October 1935) is a British former business manager, best known as one of the "Guinness Four", a group of businessmen who attempted fraudulently to manipulate the share price of the Guinness company. He was sentenced to five years' imprisonment, but released after 10 months as he was believed to be suffering from Alzheimer's disease, which is incurable. He subsequently made a full recovery.

McCoist was just asked who the Rangers Captain is and he said David Weir! Is he taking the P?
