Similar to meetings is training sessions, I have a rule, once I have started my introduction you ain't getting in and will have to attend another session. Pissed many a person off but they turn up on time for the next one.

So if you don't want to get married but want the tax benefit you get civilled up.

The point is, discrimination by definition is treating people differently. How id this not discrimination. Who cares what the differences are. Bit like saying why did gay people need to keep going for marriage when they had civil partnerships.

Bit like the guides/scouts debate. Or the Muirfield issue.

If you get married, you are married. If you enter into a civil partnership, you are not married. It's quite simple really.

Whilst that isn't their motivation, their legal argument is absolutely everything to do with this...albeit, it's probably been worded slightly differently.

Cars that don't let you join the motorway easily by either refusing to move to the other lane or speed up to make sure they're ahead of you when you join from the slip road.

On a completely separate note, when people tempt fate. "I love how we've got a goalie that doesn't make mistakes". I just about got up and left the ground when I heard that sentence 5 minutes in last night, pleased I never but the point still stands.
