Pretty sad that such a rancid institution is sitting second in the Scottish league. Borrowing money hand over fist from individuals and nowhere near Fair Play regulations. Fancy footwork needed to shoehorn them into European football next season.

SFA and SPFL choose to ignore it. Shows how bent and corrupt our powers that be are.

Is that the one attempting to offer shares without offering them to existing shareholders?

Yep. The attempt to sideline Ashley.

They got through a resolution allowing them to issue more shares in line with existing individual shareholdings.

I think the board could do a debt for equity swop for some of their loans, but to keep their percentage holding Ashley and the Easdales would have to put in fresh cash.

Would they have the stomach to hand over more money to King and Co. ?

If Ashley does put in more cash then it has the potential to increase his power if people like McCoist, smith etc don't put money in( they have only ever taken money out of Ibrox and won't understand the concept of it working the other way).
That means that this becomes risky for King.
3 bears unlikely to put more cash in, they sat out the last fundraising when they had to go to Hong Kong and expected their loans to be converted to equity by now.

So it could backfire bigtime and the resolution they did want to succeed has failed! Not happy days for them, given they still are spending a lot more than they earn.

I have a bit of sympathy for AM here.

It was a secret vote, and as such should be kept between the shareholder and the Company Secretary. It certainly shouldn't be leaked to a "newspaper".

And why just him? What about the other small shareholders who voted against the Resolution?

If I were him, I'd be having a word with my solicitor. Tie the *******s up in another Court case, Ally

The DR (yeah, I know) are running a story that suggests that AM abstained in the vote on Resolution 11. Had he voted for it, it would have passed.

I agree 100% with you. However ( if I'm not mistaken) was it not AM who asked for total transparency in finding out who goes against the Rangers?
So if he took them to court surely he would be seen as a hypocrite.

Ahh never mind AM take them to court, I've called you a lot worse than a hypocrite and it's never done you any harm.

    Dear Mr McCoist,

You are no longer welcome at your lodge. Please send (not hand in as we do not want you within 10 miles of it) back your blindfold, ceremonial dagger and your trousers with one leg shorter than the other.

Just be thankful we no longer cut out traitors tongues with the dagger. However there is now a curse upon you and your nearest and dearest so expect to be blacklisted from all institutions including our four year old newco.

    You traitorous swine.

    Best wishes,

    The Grand Lodge.

I agree but have no sympathy. McCoist complaining would be rank hypocrisy ...

"It is unclear why McCoist failed to vote. If Resolution 11 was passed, it would have seen his shareholding diluted by half"

That's an actual word for word quote from the DR story(Sorry). Unbelievable that anyone (never mind a journalist) could write that

It's hard to believe that is an actual sentence by a trained journo.

It looks as if Gary Ralston has replaced Jackshun as Traynor's lapdog! Perhaps they think this will give the story some credibility!!

Is there not a whole raft of tabloid media sorts that used to work for Rangers news?

Maybe diluted and half are two negatives meaning a positive.
