Ooooft, nice little smokescreen there. Create outrage over a name change and all the other issues are glazed over and could this pave the way to get stuff voted through in terms of share purchases if it's sold as "vote for this to prevent the name change"
If the club changes its names and logo through new ownership (but not its bought history obviously) then can it sell its new merchandise at alternate outlets without Mike Ashley getting his hands on the revenue.
As Mike Ashley owns the current trademarks/brands, do these then become obsolete.

I think only rangers retail limited can make that call.
they would still have to get rid of MAs influence from the RRL board.

Wasn't trying to prove anybody wrong.

Just giving my opinion like virtually everybody else is.

You have a conspiracy theory that says there are people behind the throne, People don't believe you and are giving you some grief, which you objected to.

The simplest thing for you to do would be to say who these people are and prove you know what you're talking about.

If you don't, the only only reasonable assumption is that you just made it up, no?

EDIT: I just noticed your post where you now say you were just 'theorizing'.

I was indeed theorising. I have no inside knowledge of the inner criminal minds of King and his buddies.

Like most people looking at what's going at bits of information and trying to assess what's really going on.

As usual we won't get it from the msm.

What's clear is King did not have the 30 mill over investment. He is being propped up by the ones we know of.

There is an mighty tussle afoot to weaken some (MA/Easdales) while strengthening others (Kings buddies) within the corporate structure.

My theory of them clearing out MA/Easdales and once they do there will certainly be others at that point who will make more money available but only once the throne is settled seems logical enough.

It's a rough puff explanation but nether the less probably roughly true i'd imagine.

Was just giving a personal viewpoint without going into details of which i'm not privy to.

If Red Bull were to take over and do what they did to Salzburg then I don't think I could cope.
Watching Sevconians try to explain how they are the same club even though the last one went bust, they have a new name, new badge, new club colours and play at the red bull arena would be just too funny. Please make this happen.

But what would be in it for Red Bull ? Imagine a Red Bull/Buckfast combo !

    It would be rocket fuel.

Rangers AGM delayed by 10 minutes due to the volume of people registering to gain access to the event at the Clyde Auditorium.

Why does Dave King look so uncomfortable in a suit? Like a jakey due in court.

Think King got his spelling wrong. He really meant Lester as in Lester Piggott and continue to be a tax fraudster.

    Freudian slip methinks.

Yes they will probably avoid relegation this season but can they really push for the title next season?

Leicester have a much longer history than Sevco and had some previous success - such as LC win under Martin O'Neill.

Sevco haven't won any top level silverware.

'Celtic have won titles when Rangers have spent more'

Ah yes, and we all know exactly HOW the Hun managed to spend more - in fact, if you took away the 'success' under Murray, then they would probably have done a '3rd Lanark' as prior to the big-money being introduced, times were very lean for them !

Q: Scottish Cup final led to "threat of violence" to players. Assure risk removed? #RangersAGM

I'm sure they aren't happy at how it was dealt with. The referee should have awarded them soft penalties or the game should have been declared null and void when they realised they had been beaten fair and square by the far better team. Or Raygun should have ignored the result and handed them the cup anyhow.

What a sad bunch of delusionists. Their support wrecked Manchester City Centre yet they are playing a victims card because a few thousand hibs fans entered the pitch in over exuberation.

Another reason they may be anxious to see res 11 passed is for their license to play in Europe. If they can't convert the £14m in loans into equity then it's unlikely they will pass UEFA FFP rules.

Ah, there is always a reason that is not too obvious, but maybe the SFA can help them out again with this tricky little problem!

  28. #35427
I understand they were referring to being 'back' and 'returning the club to being one of the greatest in the world'.

It must be horrible to know what you are saying is a lie.

They are not 'back' or if they are they are merely vindicating the 'zombie' reference.

Why can't they just be honest and admit they are a newish four year old entity?

Being honest is good for the soul.

I can imagine Traynor paraphrasing Henry Ford when briefing the hacks: "You can print anything you like, as long as it's what I tell you."

    Oldco Administrators v A Bunch O Masons.

Could be interesting viewing. I assume they are livid about being wrongfully arrested or an illegal search and seizure of documents by size 10 jackbooted Police Scotland Officers and the damage done to their ahem reputations?
