But do Rangers not still own RRL? Would make the peppercorn rent a bit more understandable. Just don't take anything in the DR at face value, especially so close to the AGM.
RRL is an English company, 75% owned by MASH (***** Direct/Mike Ashley).

    Lovin' it.

The one pound rent thing was the front page splash in the DR this morning, duly copy and pasted by copy-boy Jackson from the piece sent to him by Jabba. Placed the day before the AGM to inform TRFC shareholders how bad Ashley is so they can lift their knuckles off the floor and vote through the tax cheat Kings wishes.

Do you remember when newspapers used to uncover scoundrels and expose wrong-doing? Now they are simply complicit in the whole house of cards.

DR is nothing more than a Hun cheerleading fanzine. They're only interested in the bloo poond.

Don't think their litigation will win as per negligence from David Somers. The decision was made on its own merits at that time to lease it to MA and the contract will have been tighter than a ducks ass.

Got to hand it to MA. Done them up like a stitched kipper.

Spot on!! Strangely I doubt there will be a mention of the £10m loan which kept this rancid outfit afloat!

Regardless if it's true or not, one thing's for certain - the fact that 'The Scotsman' has printed an article based on content from the 'tard' is confirmation that it's time as a 'Genuinely informative and authentic newspaper' is now definitely over

It appears my giving my opinion on there being huns with deep pockets who prefer to stay in the background and are waiting for MA and others like the Easdale Brothers to be taken out of the picture is met with ridicule as if my opinion is a conspiracy theory.

Which in itself seems bizarre as we have all learnt what would normally be considered conspiracy theories as factually being true.

For example - The Sfa conspired to allow the old rangers access to UEFA participation while knowing they did not meet the requirements of all tax receipts being up to date which should have led to the SFA informing the huns they could not put them forward to participate and forwarded the teams below instead. - True and not a conspiracy.

There are many other examples of what would normally be considered as being a conspiracy theory as being factually true yet I'm ridiculed for my own opinions.

Actually, the guy that started this new Club was from Yorkshire, so they're more correctly referred to as T'Rangers.

I'm still unclear as to who you think are the people "behind" King.

The people who are likeliest to benefit from the Resolution 11 being passed tomorrow are those who currently have loans to the club, and who would want to convert those loans to equity. Those people aren't mysteries, they're known publicly.

There is also the "mysterious" Margarita Holdings and Blue Pitch people. Last time I looked, they had their shares suspended by the current regime. So it won't be them.

That leaves the prospect of someone completely new who might want to invest heavily. This from the Evening Times seems to rule that out:- http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/...pert_Pattullo/

Even if that's wrong, 2 questions are begged:-

    1. who?

    2. why?

I think res 11 is most likely to be about increasing control for those who have loaned to the club already by converting the loans to equity and also about accessing the fans cash through club 1872

Iirc these included loans from some Hong Kong based "fans" with no strings attached other than a presumed desire to see a return on their "investment"

Ooooft, nice little smokescreen there. Create outrage over a name change and all the other issues are glazed over and could this pave the way to get stuff voted through in terms of share purchases if it's sold as "vote for this to prevent the name change"

So they've chosen the logo of an animal that hates being goaded. Makes perfect sense.
