I'm not counting my chickens yet, 40 points from those two players combined should get you a victory, which is totally possible. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

For all Max's whinging about his deficiencies at RB, they've put up some amazing numbers this week!
Forsset with 31 points and Charles with 18.2!It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
But even harder to accept the scars you left were planned

I've secured my place in the playoffs now though, so I'm happy. Hopefully heading for top scorer in the regular season for the 2nd straight year too...

According to the playoff schedule, I play Revis Islanders in round 1 of the playoffs!

Anyone got a RB they're willing to trade? Would swap Marshall if the offer was right. open to all offers.

Dan Herron might sound like a silly one given his low numbers to date but with Bradshaw now being out for the season, Herron is now the primary RB in Indianapolis ahead of Richardson...I took that same gamble on Denard Robinson and he's been a beast since he took over the RB spot in Jacksonville. It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands

I can see my proposal of Herron might not have been well received anyway given that lugz has Richardson already! It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands

4 playoff spots tied up then (Dolphins, Monsters, Giants and Islanders)
Any 4 from 6 for the last spots (Claymores, Celek Few, Bawbags, 12s, No Romo and Cajuns)
I can't be bothered to go through the schedule and who's played who but I think the next three teams could also make it depending on the way games go.Last edited by James.; 25-11-2014 at 04:02 PM.

I reckon I'm safe but I'd like to beat Graham this weekend just to be sure. Hoping I won't rue giving up Sankey and Robinson too much

Quite surprised I was successful in my claim to get Teddy Bridgewater's new favourite 'go-to' this morning in Charles Johnson!
Quite pleased by how I've managed my team this year, which isn't something I've taken great care to do last few times we've done this.
It's amazing how much you learn from playing this game over time! It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands

I've picked up Derek Carr because of how awful RG3 is and him now being dropped! Ever since Foles went down I've been a mess at QB

I've learned something about Fantasy Football this year. A 16-team league isn't as much fun as I thought it would be. If you draft badly or are hit by injuries or if your stud is a dud, it's really hard to pick up the pieces. In my case, it's more like feces (or farces). I know we are all affected but I feel unlucky this season with my team. Other than Jamal Charles, who missed some playing time with a high ankle strain, nobody else is really performing for me. Justin Forsett was a nice surprise but everyone else has been pretty ineffective. All my sleepers, well, they continue to sleep. I did have a decent QB backup, until he went on the IR so I'm stuck with Kaepernick. As I said, we're all affected, I certainly amn't claiming the "worst luck ever" trophy, but it's been hard going. I think the magic number might be 12. I'm in a few 12-man leagues and those seem to be going well (no, I'm not winning them but there are always players on the waiver wire - players that are worth a plug n play).
Vincent Jackson, Marques Colston and Percy Harvin - three pretty well-known WRs...and they have done nothing for me.
Fingers crossed though. There might be surprises yet. LOL. I think the most important thing is, and I say this to everyone, it doesn't matter how crap your team is you have an obligation to the rest of the league to keep playing hard and that's exactly what I plan to do for the remainder of the season. The reason I mention this is because I have a guy in one league who set his team at the start and because of the way things turned out early on, he quit setting his line up. He never responded to trade offers. Total douche bag. You don't do that.

Have to say for my first year and my no1 pick playing only 1 game all season I'm pretty happy just to be in with a shout for the playoffs, like hibsmax said I had no idea how difficult it would be at times trying to get players who I've never heard of but it's still been pretty enjoyable nonetheless

Was looking at my team and thinking "who the hell was my 1st round pick", so i searched through lots of pages and found out it was Montee Ball
He has since been traded away and scored a massive 27 points this season.
Lesson learned.

Picked up Ray Rice on the long shot he'll now be picked up, plenty wasters on my bench so worth the risk

Any team would be mad to take on that kind of heat/publicity.

Loch Ness Monsters for me this weekend - they roasted me earlier this season and the projections have me winning this week but it's hard to see how!
Hoping for huge defensive performances from Seattle and Atlanta (!)It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
