Good news for me, although judging by the way my team is performing the winner will be whichever one of us is the least worst....This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Had 2 players last night who combined scored less than Luck. finding the most frustrating thing is who to pick, had the choice of Reggie Wayne or Brian Quick and have made the wrong choice.

I only have 3 WRs, one on a bye, two who didn't practice. Could be a bad week.

TRich has another good day, after I put him on waivers for 4 weeks of doing nothing. Unbelievable.

Ah well, I'm 2-4, as suspected.
Trail by 3 points and all my players are finished. It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
But even harder to accept the scars you left were planned

Gutted as I had Antonio Holmes (Oakland) and dropped him as he hadn't been doing much and he went and put up huge numbers at the weekend that might have made it a competition! It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
But even harder to accept the scars you left were planned

First Jamaal Charles then Ryan Mathews and now Stevan Ridley. I know other people have injuries, etc. but three starting RBs is a tough pill to swallow in a 16-man league. At least Charles is back and Mathews is on his way...week 8 maybe. Nobody on the waiver wire really worth picking up beyond them having a boom week.

I know I am getting ahead of myself here a little but since we totally control our draft process, is anyone interested in the idea of adopting a keeper / dynasty element? I'm thinking that each team could carry over 1 or TBD players from one season to the next? A long time to think about that but I've heard about these sorts of leagues and it intrigues me.

Usually you forfeit the round you drafted your keepers in the following year - using this year's players as examples - if I kept Forte then I wouldn't draft in the first round but if I decided to keep Julius Thomas I would keep my first round pick and miss out in the third round. So it rewards good drafting in the later rounds too.
If there's not enough interest then possibly even 8/10 of us could have a second league with the dynasty or keeper element.
It's certainly something to consider going forward but please no expansion above 16 teams whatever we do!Last edited by James.; 14-10-2014 at 06:25 PM.

Oh and Max. Good to see we picked different teams in the survivor pool for a change last week
I was very very lucky with the Bengals!
