To me, that was the defining moment in this story. That's the point they could have taken control if the situation, but they chose to bury their heads in the sand and continue to prop up an owner that was clearly a crook.

They couldn't have bought him out, but they could have made it impossible for him to go on. They have been a bunch of patsies, floored by their own hubris, rather than the actions of others. That's what happens when your brought up to tug your forelock, and believe the folks on the hill are on your side.
Yes agree they are not victims and have been the Architects of their own Downfall The fact they have had media sympathy to certain extend has allowed the Delusion to build and Some supporters and Board Members now need to come out Publicly and accept they didn't do enough and apologise But we all know why they didn't they were enjoying cheating their way to success and even after the Scottish Cup Final they still believed that they could go on .They got greedy and they need to pay the price

But back in October 2012 Vlad was still in control of UBIG and Ukio Bankas and had the word come back that the " simple fans " were not going to give up Christmas then I'm sure a couple of legal documents would have seen the PBS Titles end up as an asset to some Virgin Isle registered company.

Something that tickles me is that if they had taken administration in October 2012, like any rational business would have done, instead of that ridiculous non-share issue they'd be in much better shape now. They had a stronger squad and a real chance of staying in the top flight and there would have been an extra million quid in the pot for the Save Hearts In Trouble people. They would have got away with it.
I'd bet my last pound the badLiths already had their exit plan running at that time and were only concerned about fleecing the yams with the share money and as much of the season ticket money as they could muster before fleeing. They had no intention of giving these bucks up.

What surprises me is no criminal investigation ... into the part played by those on the run and those still there of how that all happened.
    Space to let

Think about this, they have kept on wee Broony even though they were in admin but now they have told him to bolt, maybe there is no meeting on monday and they are cutting costs already. Jackson already said other means of funding might be on the cards if they don't get the shares and i predict they will get out the begging bowl one again so that they stagger on till season end.

My thoughts exactly. They did however have the opportunity to go into admin before end of last season. They may or may not have been relegated but even if they had they would have had the opportunity to come back up without Newco being in same league as them. There is of course one consistent factor throughout this period, self-sufficient Southern was nominally in charge. He does seem to have disappeared in recent months though, wonder why?

Tom English on Sportscene has just said that Tynie is only worth £1million tops. Surely not?

Of course it's true, why would he lie?

Also, I have utmost faith that Tom English is indeed an expert in current Edinburgh land values.

I'm off out for a few jars to celebrate Hearts relegation.

Monday off out to hopefully celebrate our escape from relegation and their liquidation.

Tom English slavering that the Tynecastle High School land was sold for £650k last week? Land that is 2/3rd the size of what Hearts own, therefore he says that the most the Lithuanians can hope for is £1m?

Can someone help him out here with evidence to show he is talking rubbish.

So why is Budgie willing to pay £2.5m now, and Cala £22M a few years ago. Have the Liths been running nuclear tests under the main stand that no one was aware of ? Would explain a lot.

Sounds like he's been well coached by BDO. Must be because Yams are such well known philanthropists that they're paying 150% over the odds then!

A question for the posters who know how all this process works:

In all likelihood what do you think the outcome will be, will the CVA be granted or does liquidation beckon?

If Budge does somehow pull this off, then declare the PBS 'not fit for purpose' and launches the search for a new home, expect the MSM to talk it up as a premier development opportunity, easily worth £20m or more.

    With apologies to Joy Division:

In fear every day, every evening,
He calls her aloud from above,
    Carefully watched for a reason,
    Painstaking devotion and love,
    Surrendered to self preservation,
From others who care for themselves.
    A blindness that touches perfection,
But hurts just like anything else.

    Liquidation, liquidation, liquidation.

Mother I tried please believe me,
I'm doing the best that I can.
I'm ashamed of the things I've been put through,
I'm ashamed of the person I am.

    Liquidation, liquidation, liquidation.

But if you could just see the beauty,
These things I could never describe,
    These pleasures a wayward distraction,
This is my one lucky prize.

    Liquidation, liquidation, liquidation, Liquidation, liquidation.

Indeed we do and, in my opinion, that has been the plan from the start of F.O.H..

On the subject of the silent 8,000 Diddies I understand Ian -I was an M.P. - Murray is in hiding in Westminster.

I will stick my neck out again, the big L will happen within 48 hours of the last league match.

Most likely because Dara O'briain wouldn't be seen dead in the same room as Tom English.

    Sergey is Vlad.

Back in 2004, Vlad's mate bet him a rouble that he could buy a football club in one of Europe's smaller leagues and convince them they were going to win the Champions League, despite the fact he didn't have any money himself.

Vlad went along with it for a laugh, assuming he'd be rumbled pretty quickly and win the bet. When he realised quite how thick the Yams really are, he developed an alter ego to try and scupper the project.
