Other than what's been reported in the UK press, I've not read anywhere that the UBIG creditors meeting is actually taking place. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Adomonis can say all he wants about the Ukio meeting, but it's the UBIG meeting and approval/rejection that's key. Adomonis is not the spokesperson for UBIG.

Noticed on UAB Valnetas the administrators for Ukio on their news page no mention of any creditors meeting taking place. There are mentions of other meetings next week. Maybe i am misreading this, thought they would have posted something on their website confirming meeting going ahead?

The fact that there's no mention anywhere of this meeting, when every other meeting has been listed, adds weight to this. It could simply be that there is no meeting and they're stalling until Monday.
It is just a conspiracy theory though..............

I know this is an old article but its worth re-visiting and taking in the comments by the administrator! Even back then it was clear that unless substantial offer was made they were going to liquidate and let the assets go to auction. I think that was always the plan. Why sell as a going concern when going to auction might raise a better offer.

I'm a bit skint this month so i suppose it wouldn't all be bad news.
Go sit by the letterbox and await the share certificate that's rightly yours.

Rangers, did not get back into any league. Instead, another club called The Rangers, applied and were allowed into the bottom rung of the SFL Leagues. no question about that, because it's a FACT

It is kinda odd that both the UKIO and UBIG administrators have arranged to have creditors meetings on the exact same date. These co-ordinated meetings, we are told are to "rubber stamp" the acceptance of the the CVA. Strangely, these meetings are taking place at the very limit of the timescale BDO has emphasised the CVA has to be delivered to avoid liquidation.
If Jackson has successfully orchestrated this, and the outcome is favourable to Hearts, ie: the CVA is approved and the all the shares are released immediately, then you would have to say he has played an absolute "blinder". However, given the past record of Lithuanian inertia in these matters (for valid reasons) and the complexities involved, you have to remain sceptical. Anyway, we will soon find out.Last edited by Criswell; 05-04-2014 at 12:13 AM.

You our know what I mean, if hearts are to start a newco and fast track into the leagues, they will need to settle football debts. Either way those plums won't be debt free or financially sound whether they get the cva agreed or liquidate.

They couldn't have bought him out, but they could have made it impossible for him to go on. They have been a bunch of patsies, floored by their own hubris, rather than the actions of others. That's what happens when your brought up to tug your forelock, and believe the folks on the hill are on your side.
