My source has been in contact today.

Everything is just ticking over at the moment as they can't really do much else. Everyone feels like they are stuck in limbo. They can't sell Season Tickets, they can't talk to players about contract extensions, in fact they can't do much of anything as they don't want to do anything that would upset Budge and jeopardise the take over.

There is a worry that the money will run out in the off season if not before and they'll be liquidated. Staff have been told it's unlikely the FOH will be able (or willing) to help them out because it would hurt the business plan going forward.

BDO are saying there is still every chance they'll survive all of this but with every passing day it gets less and less likely.

I'm not saying they will be liquidated or that they will survive. I'm just passing the information on. I'm sure some on here and all over the road will find a way to twist all if it but that's their prerogative

At what point will the SPFL need to know what teams are able to compete next season? Surely it's wisest to make decisions sooner rather than later, so that a repeat of SEVCO can be avoided. Would it be prudent of them to seek reassurances from Oldyam that they can complete their fixtures next year. After all they are struggling to make it to the end of next season.

It doesn't work like that. The SPFL will just assume that every club will be available until it becomes absolutely obvious they won't be. The SPFL is the other clubs and they have no desire to trip each other up at every turn. "Live and let live" is the general rule when it comes to the SPFL.

They must have discussed, internally at least, plans to liquidate and emerge as a Newco with all that that entails. As each month passes it may appear to be prudent to implement that plan, sooner rather than later. Logic dictates they must be nearing their Rubicon.

    Cheers for that Bajillions.

And you are indeed correct that the roasters over on Brokeback will think it's 'Hobonomics' but in truth they deep down know your are right in your summations.

Well we just need to cling on to our last remaining hope that delays in Lithland drag on for some time.

Relegation is welcome of course but let's not make out that they will be years in the doldrums as ICT and Ross County have done OK on much less income than they will have.......despite the millstone costs of a stadium that isn't and never will be fit for purpose.

That's what I heard, the Lithuanians have got them jumping through hoops and they're being prodded into Moonwalking every now and then.

No probs, B - at £550 an hour I don't think it was the best use of funds.

But he did return with some cheap baccy for the smokers in the office...so all was not lost.

The most satisfying news coming out of Tynecastle just now is the fact that there is no news. If they had anything positive to announce they would be screaming it from the roof tops. The more time that passes without any news the nearer they are to the big L. Silence is golden.

Such a bizarre reaction to your very reasonable and temperate post on Kickback. It's so strange how they seem to see you as some dark fantasist for simply repeating what BDO have been saying -if they really care to listen to what's beyond the soundbites - from day one.

    1. We have a finite amount of time to expedite the CVA.

    2. It is enormously complicated due to 'the paperwork' of those inefficient East Europeans (as KB describe it) or 'the massive multi-national fraud investigation resulting in frozen assets' (as we call it) and it is clearly going to take some time.

    3. Each day there is no news is bad news; as there needs to be a timetable for action, otherwise liquidation will inevtiably follow.

Jackson and BDO have obviously put a spin on this and probably are trying as much as they can to influence events, but the matter is really out of their hands.

It just seems to be (understandably, I have a few in my family) very hurtful and painful for Hearts fans to grasp these simple truths and they are lashing out to shoot the messenger.

I think a nice post from Gasman telling them all is going to be well will happen over the next few days. In fact I'm absolutely sure of it.

Sitting here with my acoustic guitar, playing some Bob Dylan, having great fun.

Here's a new version of 'The Times They Are a Changin'.

If you have an acoustic guitar and are semi competent, give it a go - great fun!

    Gather 'round jambos
    Wherever you roam
    And admit that the finances
    Around you have blown

    And accept it that you’re
    being fleeced to the bone
    If your money to you
    Is worth savin'

    Then you better start prayin
As you sink like a stone
For the shares they are a-frozen

    Come journos like Barry
    Who prophesize with your pen
    Keep your eyes wide
    The chance won't come again

    Don't speak too soon
The court case is in spin
    And there's no tellin' who
    They’ll be namin'

    For Yam losers now
    Will be later Lowland
For the shares they, they are a-frozen'

    Come MP’s, Councillors
    Please heed the call
    For the FOH pledges
    Are worth sweet **** all

    For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has cheated
    the tax man and charties
    are a ragin

    They’ll be selling of Tynie
    to make asbestos flats
For the shares they are a-frozen'

    Come football supporters
    Throughout the land
    Laugh at those poor Yams
    Who just don’t understand

    Your financial peril
    is beyond your command
    the old stand is
    Rapidly aging

    Just cancel those debits
Cause you can't lend a hand
For your shares they are a-frozen

    But the Lowland ain’t bad
    And Almondvale’s fine
And you’ll have Gary Locke still
    To keep you in line

    The Golden shower generation
    Will piss to that flag
    The CVA is
    Rapidly fadin'

    And the first liquidation
    Will later be last
For the shares they are a-frozen'

Levein will be appointed in the Summer but is already planning ahead in terms of who to keep and who to let go, he will have a very good budget, the 3rd biggest in Scottish Football despite the drop in leagues, i'm sure this time next season we will be the best run club in Scottish football.

If anyone wants to risk their laptop and post on kickback, they could refer their posters to Clause 11 in the BDO interim statement released in January .

" Alternatively in the event that the CVA proposal does not come into effect the Administrators would require to place the company into Liquidation ".

Now why would anyone waste time printing that if it is all a foregone conclusion ?

Just read an article about the "Nuremburg Stadium" where the Nazis used to hold their parades. Apparently it was designed to hold exactly 400 000 brainwashed spectators. Sounds like it was tailor made for our chums and realistically they probably own it by default after winning the first half of the World War Cup single handedly.

Must be about a year ago that Allisbarry exclusively revealed Hearts were now self sufficient?

hibs net has been way off the mark all along. I mean, who'd ah thought it eh ?

Spring 2013 onwards: Self sufficient Hearts! --> Nearly self sufficient --> Cost cutting over summer & all will be fine --> No danger of administration --> Administration --> CVA & Debt free very soon --> CVA agreed in principal --> FOH to take over --> out of admin around Feb --> Budge to take control --> out of Admin in March --> out of Admin in April --> out of Admin in May --> ???

    Pesky shares ??

    Plums.
