Over the road they are rejoicing with the likes of... "Wonderful news!!! Out of admin soon then!!! Oh wait, isn't it the UBIG meeting we're waiting on??"

All least it isn't all bad news - they have a new club song sang by a Motown superstar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1iAtoX9DKk

Been checking the next few fixtures for our hard-up chums in Gorgie and they don't appear to have a home fixture until Friday 21st March. That is 4 weeks since their last bit of income against Celtic.

Their scheduled fixture ( at home to Aberdeen ) is postponed because of the LC Final, hard luck with that one. They must be getting down to their last pennies as home sell-outs have not happened.

This where their propaganda on crowd numbers is coming back to bite them on the bum.
Their starting point of including ALL season tickets, whether at the game or not, then adding the walk ups to make the total is giving them a (small) feeling of comfort.

Aye but they'll get a healthy sum from playing in the cup final will they not?

The budgie will help them out short term unless. B J is reporting back from Lith Land the the frozen shares issue has become insurmountable unless she puts in another chunk of her fortune .Then we will see how big a fan she really is .The PR machine clearly isn't going to tackle this perplexing conundrum until it has a solution , not withstanding the infamous Memorandam of Understading If they do go into the big L we will need to do something around that ,a bit like the Romanov bank notes at last Derby at Tynie that we didn't sell out as I was able to get a ticket ,but won't for next one no doubt .Might see if I can get one in the Hearts end or will they sell out on basis that by then they will have had good news about thier frozen shares and they will be cock a hoop

You would think so. I presume they did make it to the final? I switched off with just a few seconds left when they were 2-1 up against 9 men. Seeing tattootwat high-fiving the wee yam told me that there was absolutely no waythey could f*** it up from that position.

You would have then missed David Beckam, I mean Jamie Hamill, swipe at fresh air, fall on his very big erchie (I hope our pitch is OK?) and ICT bundled in a goal to send the game into Extra Time. I turned it off then, as 30 minutes with the 'famous' having a 2 man advantage, I didn't want to see them rattling in goal after goal in our stadium. I hate to think how many they smashed in :(

I turned off after ICT missed their first pen. No way was it going to go wrong for Hertz from there. I presume all of them, including their new signing from West Ham, and regular penalty taker Hammill, slotted all theirs home and secured their passage to the final.

Don't know the rules on this but this is a joke how they get away with trumpeting these crowd figures, only they could try this on trying to make themselves look good (which they are far from of course, the camera never lies)

I know its early in the morning but here's a serious thought, would it not be better for everybody, including Yams, if they stopped this whole nonsense now & just went into Liquidation? The fact is the CVA process was never intended to rescue failing football clubs, it's a model intended to allow businesses to restructure & hopefully continue trading. The supposed benefits are many, including saving jobs, allowing creditors some recompense, avoiding state payouts etc etc! In Yams case there will be no real impact on employment, admin staff have already gone as have the higher earning players at the club. Creditors are screwed, only one receiving anything & that a fraction of what they are owed. Oh & BDO continue to rake in huge fees while Yams rapidly approach 3/4 of a year in admin. They continue to struggle along on life support, looking forward to a largely untested business model ( & where it has been tested it's failed ) & the knowledge they're going to continue playing in a ramshackle stadium whose only worth is in selling for real estate.
If they liquidate now & take their licks the oldco precedent means they'll almost certainly be reformed as Yam 1874, 1902 or 51 & be allowed to join the 4th tier of Scottish football. They can find a sugar daddy or mummy who can probably make money out of the L situation. They then set out a 5-10 year plan which includes promotions, a new stadium & cashing in on PBS & the greatest crop of youngsters ever seen in Scotland. The reality is that in Scottish terms Yams are a big club, nowhere near as big as they think of course, but they would retain sufficient support during their time in the nether regions to see them back on track. You never know they may even pay back some of the people, businesses & charities they've robbed over the years!
Fortunately, the collective ego of the Famous means this scenario is only going to happen if its forced on them & in that case it will be a fire sale with no structure or thought for the future. Whatever happens we can sit back in the front seats, drink in hand & enjoy the spectacle!

Especially with Stevenson the tattootwat available to take a penalty. I doubt he'd have shat it and let a youngster take the flak.

I think the previous sentence ending "...unless." should have ended "....unless".

His meaning is clear but his punctuation is rotten.

As a shareholder in UKplc (in admin) I am happy for Hearts to lumber on as they are. They are paying their taxes, keeping the wee laddies off the dole, keeping BDO in (highly taxable) work, contributing to local businesses and, from a social accounting point of view, racking up the feel-good factor in certain parts of society.

    Vive l'administration, say I.

I'm not sure, but do they not need something like an average of more than 2 points per game out of the remaing fixtures to just make up the difference as it stands today?

How many games can they afford to lose before they have to win ALL of their games. It can't be far off now.
