NY Post is reporting James Gamdolfini best know for his iconic role as Tony Soprano has died of a heart attack on holiday in italy at the age of 51.
Sad news.

Really sad news. Great actor.
For me Tony Soprano is the greatest character and The Sopranos in the greatest tv show of all time.

Celebrity deaths normally don't bother me too much to be honest but this one has me pretty gutted, Tony S is one of the best tv characters of all time
Gandolfini was some actor, was great in the Mexican as a gay hitman

What a shame - he was a great actor not just in The Sopranos but also in In The Loop and Zero Dark Thirty.
He was a big guy but 51 is too soon. Seemed a real down to earth guy as well who didn't forget his roots - apparently he'd invite the door men of his apartment block into his apartment at new year, they all loved him.

Genuinely gutted to read this when I got up this morning. Loved The Sopranos.
