Jeez, what a guy, puts a smile on my face every time. And to be fair on him there's every chance this one is true as there's been a few perverts at his football club, one of them was hiding out in Kaunus so the cross contamination risk is high, maybe we should fire on a letter of support to him on this one? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. If they make it through January expect to see a very optimistic statement on their website shortly before their accounts are published.

Annual Return now available. No change to directors or share capital or major holdings so what was the delay ?
Guess they rely on their advisors to keep them right in these matters and said advisors are now only doing instructed work and not holding their hands.

Good news. Andrew Driver reporting in today's Evening News that none of their players want to leave. Given how desperately they need them to leave this can only be a good thing.

I see that the lith they had over who many were hailing as their saviour has buggered off back home. What a shame on the fans they even had a wee pet name for him "Rimmy".
This suggests to me that they don't expect to have the embargo lifted any time soon.

Hertz Rumours
Had a wee look at the Hibs Rumours page - nothing to see that has not been posted on here already (ie Griffiths, Craig etc).
So thought I would see what the Yams are saying on their rumours page. Not surprisingly, it is all about who is leaving rather than who is signing.

Was at the training centre today doing promo work and the chat was that 5 first team players have already signed deals to leave us on January 1st and two others are close to agreeing terms. Wish we could have at least kept them until after the derby!
Reply was: Novikovas, Zal, Webster , Driver R.McGowan, McDonald, Taouil, all going on the 1st Jan 2013
Another reply was: Zal is going Webster is staying know this for a fact.

Novikovas is poised to sign a pre contract with polish outfit lech poznan. It seems they are also going after ojamma from motherwell. The exodus has started.

They might lose some players in January but none before the derby game for sure.

Sounds a hearts wind up ... Trying to scare us that zalioukas might not be playing :-)
"At the end of the day, we all aspire to bigger things in our lives but one thing I can truly say from my heart is if I never kick a ball for one of these bigger clubs I would be delighted to stay with Hibs for the rest of my career. That's how highly I regard this club." Ivan Sproule

I hope "Captain Zal" hangs around. He's a total bombscare and worth a goal of a start in the Derby. He's too concerned with giving it the "5-1" that he'll give away a penalty/OG/goal.

On kickback theres a thread talking about when they are going to get round to building a new stand. After a few concede the super structure isn't going to happen, one suggests the build something similar to the East Stand at ER. Considering the fact they have slagged this stand since it was built that's quite amusing, even more amusing when someone points out they can't afford anything resembling the East.
They really still don't seem to get how ****ed they are. Some are even talking about signing players again, 'once the embargo is lifted'. They were told they needed £2M from the share issue, the bake sales didn't raise anywhere near that. The solution: sell and offload players. Then pray.

Hearts have been handed a further registration embargo by the Scottish Premier League over their failure to pay players bonuses and appearance money.
The Tynecastle club has already been placed under signing restrictions by the league over the late payment of wages but at a meeting at Hampden on Monday, further punishment has been handed down.
The existing restriction will be lifted when the SPL is happy that wage payments are up to date and being paid on a timely basis but when that punishment ends a new sanction will take effect.
The SPL announced that although the club will be able to add new signings, specific conditions will be imposed.
New signings will only be permitted on a "one out, one in" basis, no player over the age of 21 will be permitted to be registered and any incoming player must be on a lower employment cost than the departing player.
The restrictions will end any possibility of the club signing 29-year-old Lithuanian striker Arturas Rimkevicius, who had been on trial at the club.

Mcgowan will play his last game for the puddle drinkers against us on Thursday. Then he's off to China for 9 months.
McDonald aint going anywhere
The rest is only a matter of time really, cause they are desperate for the cash, and to get them of the wage bill.

McGowan only goes to china if he's injury free. If he gets crocked their financial situation goes nuclear. Not asking anyone to nail him you understand....
...but if we go 3 up I'd remind Ivan of the headbutt incident last new year then send him on as a subbyLast edited by Part/Time Supporter; 30-06-2013 at 07:03 AM. Reason: posts merged

When they fail to pay January's wages the only logical punishment available is a points deduction.
