The way things are looking a win for the Seahawks tonight gives them a wild card spot?
Indeed. It keeps the division alive as well but there's no chance that the 49ers won't beat the Cards next week.

Just finished listening to that, thanks for telling me about it i really enjoyed it.
    I liked the mayor. Whaddaguy.

Edit. Re-the Hawks, a win will clinch the wildcard but we COULD still win the division and beat the Packers to the 2nd seed and the bye week

Cheers, if you beat the 49ers and we win next week we get the bye

So when we beat the Cards 58-0 and put 50 points past the Bills we were only beating what was in front of us. Now that we've beaten the 49ers very convincingly, are the Seahawks entitled to be considered to be the real deal?

Absolutely delighted with the performance tonight. And who knows, maybe the 49ers might slip up next week!?

Could we see a Rookie/first starting year QB win the big one this season? Wilson, Kaepernick, Luck, RGIII all in the playoffs.

Nope. For me it's Denver's to lose. if they manage to get home advantage in the playoffs, nobody will beat them for me. Among the top 4 or 5 teams in the league both offensively and defensively, with a deadly qb, they look a shoo-in for me.

They've been greatly helped by being in such a poor division. When you look at their schedule, they failed to beat the Falcons, Texans and Patriots and there are no results there that raise the eyebrows as a particularly good win. Undoubtedly they're one of the top teams in the NFL but I can't see them winning the Super Bowl.

I can see them getting to the superbowl... but for me, it is Seattles to lose. They have had their blip but they look great and **** me is Wilson looking like a great QB.

As a Pats fan I hope we get it but I will be happier when the Giants are out of the running!

I am a little bit optimistic but for us to win three away games against postseason quality teams then win the Super Bowl would greatly surprise me.

However, if the Cardinals beat the 49ers on Sunday...

Russel Wilson is the man (other than Brady obviously!). I watched him for NC State, the man has a drive to win. He wont stop until he wins.

Home advantage or not, Wilson is a player.

Agree about Denver. I just cant see them going all the way, and am surprised they're the favourites.

They've won 10 straight which is the best streak in the league but I agree and don't think they'll go all the way.

I reckon Houston, New England or Baltimore are all far more likely to represent the AFC than Denver.

The pro bowl committee has clearly been on the egg nog. Of Seattles four defensive backs, they've chosen free safety Earl Thomas, probably the weakest of the four, while ignoring Kam chancellor, Browner and ludicrously, no Richard Sherman either

49ers get 9 players, Texans get 8 players (Schaub a pro bowl QB? ) and Pats get 7.

The probowl is a joke. 5 Chiefs! they are the worst team.

Victor Cruz and Jeff Saturdays inclusion is rediculous. Saturday has been benched by the packers.

I'm massively excited about Dallas-Washington later, what an end to the season

most of the early games are irrelevant to the playoff picture, although Bears just starting at Lions in a game they've got to win. Eagles have started their game with the Giants with a successful onside kick!

What a night for us - Colts beat the Texans, Bengals beat the Ravens and we're looking comfortable against Miami right now.

I think I'm correct in saying that if it stays this way, we'll move on to 12-4 and take the #2 seed in the AFC ahead of Houston?

Russell Wilson ties Peyton Mannings record for most TD passes for a rookie QB looks like 49ers will stroll into the bye week as NFC West champs, Vikings are beating Packers So as it stands, wild cards next week will be Vikings at Packers and Seahawks at Cowboys/Redskins...

In the AFC, I'd want to avoid the Bengals, they're on form.

    Edit...
Oooh Pack score now 24-27. Bears fans cheering on the Packers

If I'm wrong with my assertion that we'll secure the #2 seed, I think we'd face the Bengals at Foxborough next weekend. That being the case, I wouldn't be overly worried, as I fancy us against anyone at home. However, If I'm right enough, It'll be Cincinnati @ Houston...

I certainly fancy Denver will be in the AFC Championship game and I wouldn't fancy taking them on at Mile High right now!
