no long back from the Hibs game now Scott Hanson on RedZone - my buddy for the next few hours

Also hoping the Saints can turn over the Falcons, not a good start as TD Falcons

Working tonight so missing my first NFL Sunday of the season. At least I can be pretty confident I'll get home to good news from the CLink though.

Good result for the Ducks last night as expected, I quite enjoyed the game too.
I haven't had a chance to watch Oregon this season, I'm a bit gutted at that as they look really good

What a TD for the Saints!!

Watching Doug Martin on that recent drive for the Bucs. Scary how good that rookie has been these past few games!

Bengals taking an early lead 14-0 over the Giants

I'm not the biggest fan of college football but can someone (most likely DH) explain why Ohio State aren't ranked in the top 4 when they're undefeated? I know they aren't bowl eligible but surely if they can be ranked sixth then they might as well be ranked 3rd or 4th. Is it their schedule? Or is it just that Alabama and Georgia are still considered better teams?

The ranking system (and in fact the whole playoff system!) seems a lot fairer in college hoops - where a one off loss doesn't effectively kill your season.

Ohio State are undefeated, however, they've hardly played any highly ranked schools on their way and have had "easier" games than say Georgia or Alabama.

Buffalo look like they're about to get a TD back here against us, sitting just outside the end zone.

Baltimore destroying Oakland, yet Carson Palmer STILL has c.17 points for the day!

Thank you McCourty! We move on but still some serious questions about our D and the ability to close out a game.

    Golden Tate today

Im staying up for Bears-Texans. six firsthalf turnovers: is this good defense or just poor offense from both teams? 10-3 texans.

What a legend he is! Amazing passing touchdown.

I was really scunnered for the Rams today, but I suppose a tie at Candlestick isn't a bad result. The fake punt from their own endzone must be the ballsiest play of the night but Hekker is actually a very good passer for a punter.

Nice easy win. 5-0 at home now. I think our season could come down to our next two games, both on the road at Miami and at Chicago. Win them both, we're at 8-4 and we finish against our divisional rivals all at CLink.

so how does a tie fit in? same as football, not as bad as a loss but not as good as a win? or as they dont usually happen as good as a loss?

Pretty much. They're incredibly rare TBH! This is the first one I can remember since 2008 when the Eagles and Begals had a tied game (13-13).

That game was pretty incredible last night. I couldn't believe it when Akers pulled his kick wide!
