What they can earn from these matches is not a lot.
I thot they had about 11,000 season tickets. That money has already been paid.... And then spent.
Leaving 5 thousand seat at say 25 quid a skull that makes 125,000. Minus costs ie stewards, police etc....
It's also a case of IF and WHEN the go tits up.

Here's an example of an adjournment being granted in English court for Truro City FC. IIRC that was their first real dispute with HMRC though. They've since had much more serious problems. Originally Posted by Mikey

More recent example in rugby league (they agreed some sort of arrangement with the pursuant, who was not HMRC).
