I'm watching this unfold on my phone at work and squirming to get home. Happy happy day

Just got off the phone to a mate, he said he phoned up hibs this morning regarding getting tickets for the derby and was told he had to wait 8 days as hearts have their tax bill to pay that may end up seeing them liquidated
Oh we're having a party as jambos die

Their next 4 games are televised with 2 of them at home. I suspect (as they are televised) they will lose some support from home fans and visiting ones. Maybe not for the Celtic one, but before that the home game is against St Mirren and that’s free on BBC ALBA.

I've forgotten how to skip but I may have a wee practice when I get off the train.
This is fab.

It's all good. Even if they somehow squirm out of the 450K, the £1.8M (plus interest and penalties) will definitely kill them off.
Newco (heard a good name for it, the Transplants) playing in Div3 at Livingston next year?

07-11-2012 03:56 PM #1930The only valid debate now is how can you help the club. Is the club worth less than £110?

Au revoir, auf wiedersehn, ciao.
A quick death, just like a wrecked racehorse. Off to the glue factory in the sky with you, HoMFC.

Yes, Mr Vlad-ghostwriter, the club is worth about £26,000,110 less.

Hearts are like an annoying stain on one of your good shirts.
You try and try to get rid of it and sometimes it looks like it is disappearing but it will always be there just a little be fainter and faded than before.
They are so jammy that I just can't see them going under, certainly not by 17th November. They will wriggle out this some how. One of their fans will win the euro millions or something.
Maybe they'll see out the season and be in the third division as a new co next season.
PS - I'd love to see them shafted as much as the next man but lets not get too excited about it till it actually happens otherwise we could look very silly. Trust me, the satisfaction and smug comments will feel much better if/when the end is confirmed!

One minute they say we WILL agree a payment plan with HMRC, the next they are saying November the 17th may be our last game BUT we will sell tickets for the Celtic and Aberdeen game anyway. Someone is sniffing glue over there.

As entertaining as all this is, deep down I don't think I really want to see them die. I'd rather they continue limping along, a shadow of their former selves, receiving routine humpings in the lower leagues with the occasional cup tie at ER. But if that's not possible, can we at least keep them alive long enough to pump them on December 2nd please.

I take it this means the building of their new 51M Pound Stand/Hotel will be delayed a bit?
