Vernon Davis is on a bye this week ad it looks as if my backup, Coby Fleener, is going to be out for a fortnight so I've taken a punt on adding Anthony Fasano for this week to try and capitalise on the improving Dolphins offense.

I've got three WRs on DNP this week which is concerning me more than a little.

DNP all week or just one day? DNP can just be a rest day. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless there is a known injury and no practice all week.

    Hey Guys.

Sorry if I come across as a douchebag (I can live with that) but when someone proposes a trade it would be nice if you could accept / reject it as soon as you can rather than just leaving it sitting out there. Trades take 48 hours to clear (subject to league approval) so getting a deal done by 1pm on a Friday is important if you want to play the players that you traded for. Rejecting a trade quickly gives people the opportunity to plan other trades if the proposed one is not to your liking. If you're not interested in making any trades at all then you can just list all your players as untouchable on the trading block screen. I know we're competing against one another but when it comes to trades we have to try and work together - if that make sense?

In the Hibs spirit - Let's Work Together (in our quest for total domination). :-D

Is there a trade deadline in the league after which we can't change our rosters? I'm fine without a backup QB just now, because I can pick someone up if brees gets injured however if I knew I couldn't change my roster after a certain point I'd be trying to get a decent backup before then.

I'm looking to offload Hakeem Nicks (as I'm scarcely using him, despite the fact that he's healthy again) and pick up another WR. Any takers?
I can offer you Brandon Lloyd or Antonio Brown if you're interested?

    TRADE DEADLINE

For NFL-Managed Leagues, the deadline to complete all trades is Friday, November 23, 2012. All other transactions (add/drop, free agency and waivers) are still available to each team throughout the duration of the season.

A frustrating offer. Lloyd would be a good capture for me, but he's on a bye this week and so would leave me on -1, as my other two receivers are also on a bye and I'm running on limited supplies! Brown has been pretty poor this year, being subject to double coverage more often than not and his numbers have been low.

I don't suppose I should analyse my team too much as I'm well and truly out of the running as it is

    I'll hold off for now!

The only WR I can really offer you is Stevie Johnson (BUF). Austin is still on my roster but will be gone (traded) by Sunday. I'm not giving up AJ Green! Johnson WILL be playing this week albeit against a tough Houston D but he is the #1 receiver in Bufallo, has already passed his bye week and has 4 TDs versus Nicks' 1 so......

I'll make the trade proposal and you can let me know.

    Thank you, Chargers D!

Jamaal had another rough game. His schedule is real nice after next week though.

Any idea why the trade is on hold till MOnday the 5th? I thought the rules said that there is a 48 hour waiting period. That means the trade should be trough in time for Sunday's early games. What's going on, Commish?

Not a clue my good sir. Not that he'd make much difference to me this week anyway.

I have no backup defense for the 49ers, Crabtree, Welker, Smith and Brady are all on bye-weeks and my backups are all mediocre at best.

Packers' D is available on FA and should be able to accumulate some points. There must be someone on your bench who you can drop for them, unless you are just going without a D/ST?

Toyed with dropping Brandon Pettigrew but figured he might be a decent trade leverage...

Then again, with a 2-6 record, it's stopped mattering what I do in all honesty

Stop helping him!!!! I'm quite happy he has no D this week as my team isn't the highest scoring team around.....

Having looked at the other available TE's on Free Agency, there are better options than Pettigrew, so I've dumped him and taken Max's suggestion.

    You'll still win though

LOL. I'm happy to help anyone who wants it. This is really the first year that I've played fantasy football but I've learned tons already. Far from a master but have figured out some of the tactics.

I would like to point out I have had a lot of work to catch up on since power was restored to me. It has kinda pushed my fantasy team into the background

That sucks. I forget how lucky I was this time around. Sandy was the first big storm to come through here that didn't knock out my power.

Yet you are still in with a chance of winning tonight....

Another win in the bag for me, 7-2 for the season now! Even if I don't make the playoffs, I wont have a losing record, so not bad for my first attempt at it!

I know how bad that is. Well. Almost. The most I've been without power is 5 or 6 days.

Anyone seeking a good QB? I'm about to release Carson Palmer (Oakland) who has very decent numbers thus far this season.

Had him to fill my gap for when Brady/Smith were on a bye week.
