No worries, it was a long-shot. I figured I would try and get something out of the trade myself. I think my team is pretty balanced but I do have a group of WRs that are all bundled around the same point in terms of rankings, was hoping to make an upgrade there if I could.

Trying again (another offer on the table) although I might actually be trying to make a trade just for the sake of it....I can't help tinkering!

    EDIT : Removed the trade proposal. I think I am over-tinkering. :-)

I delved into waivers this week and picked up Andre Brown (RB - NYG) whilst dropping Chris Johnson (RB - Tennessee).

Johnson was hotly tipped before the season and had an outstanding pre-season but has been deplorable thus far this year. Anyone taking a gamble, good luck!

I will pick him up later this week if best isn't cleared to return, better to have someone who can run over someone not allowed to :)

Why is Johnson on waivers till October 17th? That means nobody can get him for this week. I thought the waiver period was just two days?

I probably would have accepted it, it seemed quite tempting. picked up 2 players on waivers who should be good enough for next week, so should be ok for next week which is my bad one for bye's, so I'm going to stick with what I've got at the minute.

Nope. Seems like he's up against PIT this week. Weird.

EDIT : OK, so it must be to do with him playing TONIGHT. That kinda sucks. If someone wanted him after he was dropped they wouldn't be able to play him this week. That seems a little odd and potentially a way of dropping a player while making sure nobody else can pick him up.

Left enough points to sink a ship on my bench this week. Poor management. I'll need Jordy Nelson to play like he did last season and Arian Foster to leave the game in Q1 to have any chance now!

Well wouldn't you know it, Jordy Nelson finally justifies why I drafted him so early.

Nope, Schaub, Turner and Gore all had shockers so my low scoring continues.

This week and next week are my worst weeks for bye's, so hopefully after that I can get back to winning ways.

    I. am. disgusted.

Went to bed thinking that it was in the bag with only Foster v Nelson left.
I'm now sitting the same record as the Cleveland ******ing Browns.

Just couldn't have seen it after Nelson's ridiculous 2.90 last week!

Ahmad Bradshaw 18 points against a team that is good against the run then Rodgers gets 39 points!

Poor week for me. Didn't even leave many points on the bench so at least I have the comfort of knowing I couldn't have won either way. :-)

Torn triceps, but the end result is still the same. Some talking about this being the end of his career. :(

@Lupo / WHODATTERS - you're pretty thin at the RB position (Murray and Best out) so I proposed a trade for you. Let me know if you're interested. I know that I'm asking for your bread and butter and neither of the RBs I'm offering are of the same calibre BUT they are both starting RBs with little / no competition so perhaps there is some interest there.

Whoever faces me in the next 2 weeks has pretty much a guaranteed win!

I'm getting married on Friday and will be otherwise busy until the following Monday, thus missing 2 weeks (as the laptop is NOT coming with me) so any injuries or bye-weeks can't really be dealt with!

Is there nobody you can trust to take care of your lineup while your out of commission? I would do it for you and I wouldn't deliberately field a poor team. I wouldn't make any trades or drops, just pick the team from the players you have. You can set your lineups for future weeks now which takes care of bye weeks but not injuries.

I just looked at the transaction history...you haven't made any changes to your team in 6 weeks. Is that because you're so comfortable with your draft or.....?

EDIT : OUCH!!! 6 players on a bye this week for ya! Your team pretty much picked itself this week. Time to get onto the waiver wire or start proposing trades, although it might be a little late for this week.

We do have a weak secondary so there should be options to score. I don't expect you to run the ball too well against us though. I'm looking forward to the game.

I am playing you this week and I just checked your team. It picks itself. On your bench you have Ogletree, two QBs and players on their bye week. Your starting QB is Tom Brady against the Jets so I doubt you will change that. That leaves Ogletree but your starting WRs seem good enough to me. I would say you're all set for this week unless you look into making changes (trades and / or drops).

EDIT : Rewind. You might be short at RB if Brown misses week 7 as well.
