If I have a starter who ends up being inactive, do I automatically get points from my bench or is it just whoever is in the starters that gets points? I've got a WR doubtful for the game Tuesday morning, but no-one else is playing then on my team, so do I have to sub him before sun night or can I wait and see and then sub him for someone who has already played, or do I just take a risk?

Green Bay go to 1-1 after edging out Chicago last night.
I was sound asleep well before KO so have no idea about what type of game it was!

I'm really torn for this weekend TBH.
Both Brady and Smith are at home this weekend and I expect both will win. Patriots offense was pretty hot last weekend and I expect it will be even more fired up for the home opener.
However, 49ers offense performed very well against a decent Packers defense and this week they host the Lions in San Francisco, who were shown to be very vulnerable last week against the Rams.
Also waiting til later today to set my lineup as there's a chance one of either Ryan Matthews or Rashad Mendenhall (both of whom are back to full practice) will be cleared to play for the weekend! It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands

Foster doing all the donkey work for the Texans and Tate taking all the TDs
Gonna play both of them next week now that Forte is out.

I'd just like to issue a "**** You" to Hakeem Nicks.
He was absolutely ***** last week and this week, I have 26 points sitting on my bench.

Ugh. What a day. Hernandez looks like he's picked up a sore one. Pats played horribly. That's my opinion. I know the cardinals played good D but...no point whining. Lol. Some rebuilding required.

CJ Spiller must take a lot of the credit. Left Reggie Bush on the bench for one of my other fantasy teams though, schoolboy error.

Ugh - so it continues - another pounding this week. Bottom of the table and no sign of anything picking up anytime soon!
Both Ryan Matthews and Rashad Mendenhall look like they're going to be playing next week, so that might help. With Hernandez getting injured yesterday, Welker also got more targets but against the Ravens next weekend in Baltimore, I don't fancy us to do much, so I'm dumping Brady and bringing in Alex Smith, as San Francisco should get some good offense against the Vikings.
More changes needed though, so back to the ol' trades...It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands

Horrendous week, but unbelievably I'm still in with a chance of scraping a win. Here's hoping for a blowout win for the Falcons tonight, and that Peyton Manning has a disaster of a game for Denver.

Time to ditch Welker I think. Even Edelman has gone ahead of Welker in our receiving depth chart in New England.

I'll take the win, but I'm going to have to improve. With that score I'd have only beaten 1 other person in the league!

A spirited last rush from my team, with big nights for both McGahee and Gonzalez, but still lost out by 10.
I wasn't talking about dropping Welker from my squad, just my starting roster. I think he's an undroppable anyway, so I can't trade him out. It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands

Undroppable? Is that a fantasy term or are you just saying you don't want to drop him?

At the end of last week I had position 2, so I saved using it hoping to get a good pick up this week. Now I see that the order gets re-calculated based on league position each week..... Grr
Ah well, I suppose it is better to be second in the league after two weeks than last! Although I have such a poor performing team that I could be bad for weeks because I can't pick up any decent waivers but not dropping down the league quickly due to my two lucky wins.
