Trent Richardson fit and starting for the Browns.
Marshawn Lynch not confirmed for Seattle. I bet thed rather not be starting Wilson without a quality RB to share the load.

21 unanswered by the Titans. Gronk with the TD.
RG3 is certainly putting up the numbers early doors!

Wow today was ugly. We (saints) sucked throughout the team. Not seen that bad a performance by us in years. Wonder if we really do miss Sean Payton that much.

After a bad start, Russel Wilson throws his first NFL TD to Sidney Rice. But Cardinals lead 13-10 late in the third.

Our D still isn't looking so good with a lot of Blown coverages and when we come up against a good D like the 49ers it really shows as Rodgers doesn't get as much his way way on the offense

Aw well defeat in week 1, 49ers looks a solid outfit like last year but there manager loves to let his mouth run! It doesn't get any easier in week 2 with the Bears next

Easy fantasy win for DH this week. Poor, poor, poor...
Dont overly care though. Thoroughly enjoyed a very entertaining week 1.
49ers were very impressive in both departments, some great games early on, good win for us on the road against a good Titans team whom our defence shut down well and a good win for the Jets, though hopefully they're not getting too carried away as the Bills were atrocious.Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Surprised there's been no mention of Tulane safety Devon Walker yet, who broke his neck and suffered a collapsed lung in a collision with his teammate during Saturday's game.
Looked completely innocuous at first glance but the slow replay clearly show a hard helmet to helmet hit and he just flattens out unresponsive.
Scary stuff and not nice to see. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

As for the Jets, I will get carried away. A Sanchez who looked in control, a WR in Stephen Hill who looks a real deep threat and most importantly a fantastic performance from the O-Line. Mario Williams doing his best Wes Welker imitation against us, completely invisibleSolid win for the Patsies I agree.

That's for the other thread.
Picked the 49ers to make the SB and if anything they just confirmed it last night. Patsies winning in Nashville isn't really surprising is it. And as for the Jets, lets be honest, who saw that coming? Sanchez looked good and hopefully will continue in that vein so that we can forget about this ground and pound stuff. Greene just isn't of the standard to rely on in that way. Hope people don't get too carried away with Hill's as he sucked in pre-season and hopefully he will deal with the pressure from the New York media.
On a side note. Rex is looking good with the weight loss plan.

Objectively, the Jets win IS a massive statement for an offense that was a joke preseason, to destroy what was supposed to be a mucho improved Bills D demands sitting up and taking notice. Manning was almost faultless for Denver, he's still got it. I never saw the Redskins result coming in a million years, RG3 very impressive. The other rookie QBs starting in week 1 look a bit rusty, and Wilson was a big letdown for the Seahawks. Even for a rookie, all those delay of game pens, grounding penalties and not converting with a first and goal at the 4 at the death wasnt what we were promised by the hype. Still, its only week 1

Sanchez looked alright, but bear in mind that most of your scores came from your defense or special teams. All in all, the Bills defense can't take much of a pasting for last night as it was their offensive errors which ultimately cost them dear.
Having said that, Hill looks a cracking receiver and will undoubtedly give Sanchez (or Tebow) an extra solid target.Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Just checked the tv guide and the NFL isn't on the BBC tonight, its on the red button, so can't be recorded! Really annoying. I guess it will be on iPlayer, but we can't watch that up here with our dark ages internet. I hope its not going to be like this all season....
