That's it, we're sh*t and going down. PF doesn't have a clue and forget about the final. PATG fans don't deserve a ticket for said final but then, if they don't go to the Dunfermline game their no Hibs fansThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote.

I'm far from a huge NFL fan, I stay up and watch the Superbowl every year but thats the extent of it. But saw this today...

Hiya!! I like her.
Considering the tens of thousands of 'hibs fans' who only ever bother to see us when we're in cup finals, I suppose I am a pretty big NFL fan just watching the Superbowl?

A friend of mine from California has been going to Easter Road this.season. He likes going to games (he likes following perennial losers, hes a Clippers fan), but even he cant quite understand the miserable self-loathing thats on display at Hibs games. I guess american sports fans have a more philosophical attitude to losing, which is at odds with the national stereotype. I doubt there is a comparably aggresive and miserable American version of hibs.net.
Anyway, Pete Carroll GTF! Our draft just wasnt Seahawk Class

But then, if there were relegation from the NFL then the Jets would be going down, no tickets for finals coz they never get there!

Can't say I'm very knowledgable about college football so couldn't really say how I feel about our draft picks. However I'd rather have tried to get a tackle to replace Hunter.

Its one of the great incongruities in world.sport that the Americans as a society pride themselves on winning at all costs and a dog eat dog, only the strong survive mentality, but as a sporting nation they do everything they can through the draft system and salary control to create equality and a level playing field. The NFL, NBA and MLB bigwigs might not appreciate the description, but its almost a socialist utopia

Bloody glory hunters.
Seriously though, if anyone going to the final fancies meeting up in Glasgow for a pint before the game then drop me a PM. Don't fancy hanging about on my own and don't know anybody who's going.

Shocked at the news about Seau. Always thought he was a good player.
On another note I think the NFL has went over the top with the saints punishment. Whole season for vilma. The NFL is clearly trying to destroy the team.

I've got a Vilma jersey. It's from when he was playing for a good team though.

I still think we make the playoffs though. Our offence is just too good with Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham to miss out.
Sorry about your team btw. As much as I love Tebows spirit, I can't see him being the QB that the jets need. The new York media will slaughter him.

The more cynical saints fans think he hasent signed yet as this season sean Payton is allowed no contact with NFL employees but until drew signs the contract he can speak to the coach as much as he likes.

. He's (Tebow) NO gonna be our starting QB. We've signed him to play special teams, he's gonna make a great punt protector
, kick holder as well as run our wild card. Sanchez is the worry. First bad game he has, watch the New York media turn and want Tebow in. The fun time is gonna be when we've got the both of them on the field at the same time

Read the thread.
To be honest he wouldn't have been my pick but hopefully Rex knows what he's doing. As long as he doesn't turn out like Gholston (Great college ball player) I'm not fused. Stephen Hill though, he's gonna be a superstar.

Delighted we've signed Addai - he used to inflict a lot of damage when we faced up against Indy and I'm sure he'd be a solid addition to our running game, particularly after releasing BJGE. Also delighted we've secured Brandon Bolden. Had an outstanding season just gone with Mississippi and will be a good prospect if he can navigate camp.

C'mon guy's. Going by the main board it looks like a few of you have got a ticket.
In other news. I tried to get a Tebow jersey for Saturday but could only find one. Was all set to buy it until the guy said it's a Reebok jersey. Thought to myself, no chance, that has to be a fake so told the guy to bolt. After doing some investigating it turns out that Reebok have indeed brought out Tebow jersey's. Cheeky ****s and totally out of order if you ask me.

My folks were over the US there and I'd asked them to pick me up a Patriots jersey, but due to the changeover to Nike, there's been a delay in shipping out the new stock, so no luck.
Guess this means an exorbitant shipping charge. Really wish there was somewhere in the UK which would import and distribute, thus absorbing the shipping charge!Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Can you not get family or friends to post you one out? I don't mind paying the charges if there reasonable. What gets me are the taxes. So much so that I don't buy anything anymore unless it's a gift.

Interesting that they're adding in a huge HD screen. Perhaps a quicker and more open avenue for everyone to see video replay of marginal calls?
It's a stadium I'd love to visit one day actually - chance of getting tickets are next to none mind you, but even to see it in the off season would be cool.
I was having a look at stadium capacities the other day and was extremely proud to note that we (Michigan) have the 3rd largest stadium in the world!
Ohio State aren't far behind actually DH, with 7600 less seats - I genuinely didn't realise the horseshoe was as big as that!
And asking a favour of the family we have in New England is more hassle than it's worth! They've already told me they've bought me a Red Sox shirt for coming over in October and I'd hate to look ungrateful by asking them to get something else too.Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

I noticed the Michigan being 3rd biggest on wiki a few months ago and just assumed you knew. There are some stadiums that i knew were big but not THAT big, such as Penn St and Texas A&M

Use this link, obviously it's saved in my favourites for the Giants but you basically can pick any team and any merchadise and they bring it in for you. I found it on the NFL Uk forums.
