Wish i stuck with Arron Rodgers in my fantasy football team - went with Cam Newton instead - He done allright but was nothing compared to Rodgers

Its good to see the colts at the bottom of the AFC South for a change - im fed up of them always winning it!

Have to admire your dedication to stay up and watch it to its grizzly conclusion!

I settled for the highlights this morning and have to say, I expected nothing less than a Ravens win last night - they're a very good team and I fully expect them to be in the AFC Championship game at least this year.
As long as it's not your mob I'll be happy . Can't see it though. There's no arguing with their D but their O nearly sucks as bad as ours. Flacco was shocking last night and if he keeps that up they won't even be close. Absolutely bricking it over next week and dreading the thought of your lot ripping us a new one.

Have you seen our D since the season got underway.

So long as you can get to Brady quite as effectively as you managed in the playoff game last year, you have a chance.

A lot can be learned from watching how well Buffalo played our offense.

It's been long held that "defense wins championships" in the NFL, so they (Ravens) look good for now, whilst not exactly struggling to put numbers up on offense.

I don't think it matters who gets to the Superbowl from the AFC, as both the Packers or Lions look like Superbowl winners right now

I'd take your D over our O at the moment. We are a power run team who can't run the ball . Our O-Line is struggling big time and if Mangold is still out we can forget about it. On top of that remember that we have Sanchez as our QB and while he gets a lot of unfair stick he still has Schottenheimer calling the plays.

Hopeful we'll have Mangold back as it was brutal against the Ravens last week without him, can't really put much blame on Mark at the moment when he's getting no protection from the O line. Disappointed that Holmes has been shouting his mouth off this past week, not exactly the actions of a captain.

On the plus side the Brady bunch have hardly looked great this year either, Revis will make Welker invisible for 4 quarters, Brady will be blitzed into next week & Bart Scott will breate all the doubters, the Bills will be brought back to Earth by the Eagles and we'll all be 3-2 come Sunday night.

We look poor, but we've still to be held to under 30 points scoring yet this season? Better hope for your sake that our poor team don't come alive on Sunday then

    Maybe but then you still got the problem of their tight ends ripping into us. I'm not gonna lie, I really fear the worse. Thought the Patsies would have been on (you know who you are) by now having a go. Ah well guess not so I guess I'll just say;

I'm pretty sure you said the same thing prior to our playoff game last season to be honest! I expect us to win at home but a game vs the Jets is never easy!

That only tells half the story though - I thought you guys had the 32nd ranked defence in the NFL at the moment.

EH? Maybe I did but when you match up your TE's against our safeties there really should be one outcome. Gronkowski is the key to this game.

You're right enough, we don't have the best defense in the league (certainly not against the run, which is a worry ahead of this weekend), but it almost doesn't matter when we look like scoring every time we go down the field. To say the entire team "doesn't look great" is a bit silly, particularly when Brady is on course to smash all current passing records if he keeps his start up!

I'd certainly like to see us tighten up a bit, but with Haynesworth and Wilfork in centre, we're not an overly mobile defensive unit, hence why the run has proven so successful against us.

Wee bit worried to read that Danny Woodhead, Sebastian Vollmer, Jerod Mayo and Julian Edelmen ALL missed practice and look unlikely to play.

    Happy boy this morning.

Off to San Francisco in December for a conference between the 2nd and 12th. Coincidentally, the 49'ers are at home to the Rams on the 4th. A quick glance at stub hub and I managed to get tickets for the 50 yard line, front row for $50 dollars through StubHub - tickets are printed and sitting next to me just now!

Yep, read that earlier - sad news for all associated with the Raiders.

In NCAA, the Oklahoma Sooners are absolutely obliterating Texas right now, 41-10. Anyone willing to bet against the Sooners winning the BCS?

    Now 48-10.

Ugh, my other alma matter, University of Connecticut, are getting dismantled by West Virginia.

Not been a great season for Huskies football.

As an aside, CFC, you owe me a Michigan badge

Big news, he changed the game forever and only in the last few years became a joke figure. Football wouldn't have been the Same without him. Just win baby!

Big game for my saints today. First time we play Carolina with cam starting. Think however wins could be only NFC south team that wins today.

Have you seen our schedule, nightmare. Even without all the carry on of last year and a full roster it would have been hard compared to yours. Only game I can say we will win with any confidence is on the 26th November . Was always going to be difficult and given we are pretty much bowl ineligible it was always a case of getting this season out the way.

On a side note, can we not post pics on here anymore? Found a cracker in relation to tonight's game to share with you all couldn't paste it into the thread .

My, my that has been interesting. The Patsies D really DO suck and are even making Greene look good. Really feared the worse tonight but maybe just maybe we might pull it off. Just look at the difference Magold makes to that line and as usual our D is stepping up. Not getting carried away though as still expect a Patriot win. With Buffalo winning again we really can't afford to fall to far behind but cut out the daft penalties and I'm happy with what I've seen so far.

I've only just been able to turn it on - ended up losing the huskies earlier tonight when I was taking food out to them and have been a bloody mess until we got them back.

Couldn't relax enough to turn it on earlier. Not surprised it's a close game to be honest - I think we're both 2 very average teams this year (though with 7 '3 and outs' and only 2 TD's conceded, we're not THAT bad) and Buffalo look like genuine contenders for the AFC East! We'll see though, we look like we're picking up a little bit now.

I agree DH, your schedule is hellish this season - I'm also not getting carried away - we might be #12 and 6-0, but we've hardly been tested yet! Michigan State next week will be a good test and we also have some ranked teams coming up (Nebraska should obliterate us, Wisconsin won't be easy) and I'm not expecting a win vs OSU, but I definitely don't expect it to be the usual blowout I've grown accustomed to since following the Wolverines.

Good defensive series there, stopping Greene twice and almost sacking Sanchez before he threw it away!
