How good does it feel to be a Lion right now! 3-0, is this real? This isn't a dream? Bring on those Cowgirls next week. The Lunatics are taking over the Asylum!

And for us we are 3-0 as well, I always feel we let the bears back in it when the game should be over. Aw well still a good win and we have the broncos in green bay next week

and 3 years before I was born! Got a good feeling about the game next week, will be interesting to see how Romo does tonight if he starts.

Huge win for the Big Blue! They seemed to have every offensive play picked perfectly against the Eagles D and our much depleted defence looked decent. Manning looked the part once again, only concern was how much we let McCoy run the ball, but then again he looks very good this season and can see him rushing for big yardage against a lot of teams! Play-offs at a minimum for the G-Men

Hello again folks.
Just back from a decent couple of weeks in the USA - nice being able to watch games at reasonable hours for a wee change! Was in Gainesville for the Florida vs Tennessee game last weekend and what an atmosphere - not quite the Big House, but nonetheless, impressive!
Landed in Florida in time to watch the Michigan vs Notre Dame game - a combination of jetlag and the score almost made me give up at half time, but I'm glad I stuck with it. What a game - the pass from Robinson to get us in position with seconds to go was just sublime. Also beat San Diego State, with Brady Hoke getting the win he so badly wanted - can't believe we're ranked ahead of Ohio State and Michigan State mind you - a bit surreal. A lot of noise being made about LSU, the Sooners and Crimson Tide - from the SEC games I saw whilst in Florida, they look deserving of the accolades.
Was moderately happy with the Patriots start, but was a little weary with how we defended against Miami and then also gave up some pretty easy points to San Diego - combine that with how the Bills had started and I feared the worst ahead of last night. Brady had been scintillating in the opening two, but threw far too many bad passes last night and a good Bills team picked him off and did the damage. They also expertly set up their winning field goal in running down the clock to ensure we couldn't come back - superbly executed!
Can't believe the only 3 teams who are currently sitting 3-0 are the Bills, Lions and Packers - I though the Panthers were going to take the Packers last week for sure...Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Cowgirls/Washington game has been riddled with errors, I can forgive Romo for them as he is playing with fractured ribs but muffed field goal placements and general all round poorness from both teams.

As an aside, was this broadcast over here in the UK at all? I was in tears laughing at this interview when it was shown on ESPN as the entire thing was just nuts! Here's an extract of David Bennett's interview ahead of last weekend's Coastal Carolina NCAA game:

Edit: Hahaha - didn't realise I'd posted the baseball playoff scores in the wrong thread earlier!
Just about to hit the half and Michigan look well on course to retain the Little Brown Jug, leading Minnesota 38-0, in what has been a bit of a beat-down in all honesty. Denard Robinson has looked unstoppable today and our defense has looked brilliant, shutting Minnesota down at every turn.
Stunning first half from the Wolverines! Might as well enjoy this, as I don't like the Patriots' chances tomorrow in Oakland.Last edited by Sylar; 01-10-2011 at 05:28 PM.

51-0 and counting, with 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter and that's without Robinson, who didn't come back on for the 2nd half!

Wow - what a hard few weeks the Buckeyes have ahead of them:
Today: vs Michigan State
8th Oct: @ #8 Nebraska
15th Oct: @ #24 Illinois
22nd Oct: vs #7 Wisconsin
By contrast, we have:
8th Oct: @ Northwestern
15th Oct: @ Michigan State
22nd Oct: vs Purdue
If we can take the next 3 games, I'd be a wee bit more confident of facing ranked Illinois and Nebraska teams, prior to the Buckeyes arriving in Ann Arbor.Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

OK that's that. Game has just finished. Look at the bloody time, 34-17 Ravens win. Has to be up there with 3 of the craziest quarters I've seen in a long time. Worst I've seen us play since Rex came and he won't be happy. Total joke. Said it before and will say it again, this team is going nowhere fast and with the schedule we have I honestly can't see us even making the play-offs.
Check out the QB stats, on both sides.

NFL Week 4: Scores and Standings

I settled for the highlights this morning and have to say, I expected nothing less than a Ravens win last night - they're a very good team and I fully expect them to be in the AFC Championship game at least this year.
As an aside, how about them Detroit Lions! 4-0 and an impressive comeback yesterday down in Dallas, though once again, Romo pressed the big red button, after getting the Cowgirls into a good position. How long before Dallas realise they're never going to win a Superbowl with this guy leading the charge!
