I have to say I was not expecting the Bills score... Cant wait for the highlights on that bad boy!

The best score this game day? It has to be the Colts.

DH, I had the problem a couple days ago, I had to keep signing in and it kept saying I had my password wrong or signing me out. It stopped after 2 or 3 days?

I'm more worried about Cromartie on Austin. Jets are notorious for starting slowly.

    Jets win

What a game, what a game. That's why you gota love football. 14 down in 4th we score a 50 yard field goal with 27secs to go TO WIN 27-24 . I need to go to my bed. Amazing.
Thought Romo had a cracking game though.

I'm far too wound up to go to bed now after that! Must admit that I'm liking the new pass happy Jets, the only way Sanchez is going to work out his accuracy issues is by letting him throw! Plus I'm still not sold on Greene at RB.

Revis was the standout tonight, Bryant wasn't in the game after his TD.
Special mention for LT too for some clutch third down plays!!

That 99 yarder from Welker has just cost me my Fantasy NFL fixture

    Pats looking pretty decent though.

The Redskins beating the Giants was a pretty major surprise. Could the most unfancied team in the NFL actually challenge the NFC East hierarchy?

Another predictable start from Seattle, losing to the powderpuff 49ers in the useless West. The Seahawks have decided not to bother with the quarterback position this year. I mean, who is this guy and what has he done to earn a starting jersey in the NFL?

Watched the highlights and we look really poor this year. Five sacks was just cringeworthy, the offensive line may as well not have turned up at times. The problem is we don't even have strength in the other areas of the team to compensate for not having a top quality QB.

You know you've had a nightmare of a result when people are saying Alex Smith has had a decent game against you!

    Aye, that fella is rubbish!

Good result against Miami for the Pats last night, good start to the season and Brady setting another team record for yards passed, 517 I think? What is the league record? Favre probably has it.

Still laughing at the Indiannapolis Mannings result!

Dam, wish I knew you were on the other night. Would have got you to join me on the game forum on NFLUK. Place was full of Cowboys but we had some good crack and talked some good football. Got to agree with you about Greene. Hopefully he will come good but on the plus side we've got LT so all isn't lost. Thought he was one of our better players again on Sunday. My main concerne is Sanchez, I just can't see it. Fair does, for him to work on it he has to throw the ball but the Cowboys didn't have any fit corner backs on the field and he was still dodgy at times. He's gonna struggle against better teams so think we need to go back to the running game, which again brings up the Greene issue. Not happy with Revis either. I realize QB try to avoid him but think he has to do more than he has since he signed his contract. In saying that, I can't believe Cro is on $32 million. Bryant was injured by the way so god nows what would have happened if he was fit.
Make no mistake about it, although it was a cracking game to watch we got lucky but in Rex we trust and I just love it that under him we never know when we are beat. Our previous teams would have lost that game .

...and we have the Steelers next week, who we wont be able to run the ball against either Maybe we should just go old skool on them and let the halfback take the snap and play without a QB.

I see the same referee from the infamous Seattle-Pittsburgh Superbowl is doing the same game next week. Hopefully he'll try and even things out...maybe give us some non-existent pass interference calls this time I can see the Steelers winning pretty heftily though.

    Pats-Packers Superbowl. Its obvious already.

I liked what I saw from Sanchez on Sunday, especially the plays leading up to the Keller TD - I'm not too concerned at this stage. The Dallas D threw everything at him, especially with the way Turner played, and he coped pretty well. Reading Rex's comments it looks like we'll be using the running game a lot more against Jacksonville so let's see Greene step up then. I just can't see any fault with Revis, he's a shut down corner and got us the interception which won us the game.

A cracking 100 points for my Alex Smith-led fantasy team and I still lost my match up!

Not a great start for ND!! Hopefully your school underperform like this when the Big East starts back up! One of my favourite games last year was our match up against your lot at the Garden! Sheer dominance!

2 close defeats, just arent making our own luck. Yeah not looking like a good year for the hoops team either losing ben hansborough to graduation and one of our best recruits lost his sight in one eye in a game this summer by accident so won't play for us (good thing is nd will honour the scholarship).

    All hopes on pat connaughton!

From reading a few match reports there were a lot of positives to take from the game, but our weak areas are gonna cost big point concessions.

2006 was before my time as a football fan but from reading about that match it sounds like we'll need refereeing equally as dodgy to do something on Sunday afternoon.

NFLUK Fantasy football starts this week. Each weekly winner goes into a draw to win a trip to the superbowl . The weekly winner also wins a copy of Madden 12 and a jersey of your choice. Very easy to play and a good way of starting to get into fantasy football.

You can still start a team?

It's weekly mate. Real easy to play. Basically you have $18 million each week to fill your team. I say team, it's the QB, 2X WR's, 2X RB's a TE, Kicker and a D. As long as you stay in budget you can change the whole team every week to suit the match ups and if everyone picks the same players it's cool (No draft). Have a look. Worth signing up cause it only takes one good week and your in with a chance of winning a trip to the superbowl .

There's a few of us on there, Ayrshire being one. Don't know if he plays though. The beauty of the game is that even if you didn't sign up to the last week of the regular season and won that week your in the draw.

    How do folk rate LSU?
They were getting a lot of praise regarding the defense but rely a bit too much on the running game on offense.

I thought they looked good against oregon but I don't know if they will be able to stop more physical teams.
