With the amount of new additions we've made, I can't see us launching out of the traps - our off-season is somewhat confirming that we're not a fully settled team yet. I don't know why, I just fancy that we won't win the conference, though I can see us coming good.

I'd love to be wrong, obviously

Green Bay Packers hosting the New Orleans Saints in the new season opener a mouthwatering match up between the last 2 super bowl victors, really looking forward to this game, just thought i would get in there first
This should be an awsome match - i recon that the packers will win but it will definately not be an easy game for them!

i have been lost at the weekends without my weekly NFL fix

Good start, Rogers picking up where he left off!

Mason Crosby is my fantasy team kicker so I'll take a few FGs for the Pack tonight!

Didnt we have the same "problem" last season with the amount of Rookies..?

108 yard kick return, despite being flipped upside down! Debut game for the rookie Rando Cobb! Unreal!

    35-20 to the packers!

Apparently Cobb is the first player born in the 90's to play in the NFL?

    35-27 to the pack.

Another TD, Wells, to make it 42-27. Rodgers over 300 passing yards late into the 3rd.

42-34 to the pack, brilliant score from brees.

Cobb looks as though he will be an awsome player! - cant believe that he ran the ball when he was 8 yards in his own endzone - he is a brave ladd from now on - the kickers will be doing their best to keep it away from him

Great defensive stop by the packers in the last seconds of play as well. It was an exciting game - lets hope it continues through out the season

The kick off return TD from Green Bay was sensational and the game itself was a superb opener.

Looking forward to watching more on Sunday, hopefully in Orlando, travel issues pending...

Is anyone else having problems loogging in? Half the time I can't get in and the other I'm just getting the top of the threads and can't read them .

Who's watching football and what games you watching? Been watching the Buckeyes game as usual and I got to say that Toledo really look quite good. Our O is having a mare though and Bauserman is killing us, he's playing proper kite. Miller hasn't had a sniff all game .

Jesus, this really is some squeaky bum time stuff.

  19. #1038
OH, OH. This is some scary stuff. We might actually lose this.

  20. #1039
OH my, that was some scary stuff. We got out of jail there. Shocking display from our O and I'd be really surprised if we see Bauserman start next week. Still a wins a win but all credit to Toledo. They really surprised me and they look a real good team. Any how I'm off cause the forum is doing my head in, still can't read the threads. Can't even read what I'm posting .

Apologies for the thread hijack. I know very little about college football.

I'm in North Carolina for 10 days in October.

Would it be worth going to see Miami @ The Tar Heels ? They play at Chapel Hill while I'm there. I'm not sure if either of them are any good.

    Cheers

That sounds like a good game TBH. Neither are currently considered top teams at the moment but both are capable of some good Football and a good atmosphere.

Look at The Bills today - absolutely killing the Chiefs.

  31. #1050
The Bills have totally ducked my fantasy team this week.
Are you guys all working OK? I'm still proper ducked and can't read the threads. Means I'm totally restricted in what I can see or do so for the moment I'm only using this thread on here. If any of you are computer minded can you private message me how I can get back to being able to read the threads.
