He was involved in the 2 greatest matches I have seen beating Jimmy White in the '82 world semi and coming back to beat Steve Davis in a major final after being 7-0 down.

Unfortunately his private life was a mess and effected his game.

He actually lived longer than I ever thought he would considering his lifestyle.
