Is he not the bloke that told an undercover journo that he was like a "cab for hire" when it comes to lobbying.
    Yes - him.

But I mean whether apart from that, he's involved in plotting in the same way Hoon and Hewitt have done.

In other words, I'm not quite sure what he's done to anger The Great Leader.

I just think it is a little too convenient that Hoon and Hewitt were two of the targets on the Dispatches programme. You don't have to dig too far in Westminster to find dirt. Bet they could have set up a Cabinet Minister, or one of the Shadow Cabinet if they'd wanted to. Why Hoon, Hewitt and Byers? TGL's enemies.

Even more of a coincidence, then.

Hoon, Hewitt and Byers... trapped in a sting? On TV? How convenient...

Stephen Byers, the Blairite former Cabinet Minister, increased the pressure on Gordon Brown by calling for his immediate resignation, accusing him of governing without values or principles.
This from a Blairite tart who will sell his services to whoever is willing to pay for them.

In his defence, most people would sell their services to whomever would pay for them. Byers' and co's real crime was admitting that government policy is amended to suit the corporations that are paying MPs.

Just came across this one. You really think that Channel 4's Dispatches is under the control of Gordon Brown? What is the weather like on your planet?

I think you need to look into how politics/journalism works. You'll be telling us JFK was shot by a single bullet next.

Ministers have their pet journalists they can rely on to help them out. Even if it wasn't a favoured journalist that covered this story, a simple leak from a high ranking minister - such as Mandelson - would be all it would take to make this a story worth following.

The fact that the three people who took on Brown, ended up with egg on their faces less than three months later has to be more than coincidence.
