Yes he will with agreement from the owners. The notion that Hibs will buy players without him being involved heavily in maintaining budgets and keeping spending under control is a bit daft honestly. Like Trinity has said, he will delegate but he'll oversee and have a good understanding of every facet of how the club operates.
At the risk of hinting at something negative in an otherwise positive sounding story, I asked a Leicester City season ticket holder for their view.
