Anyway, it's interesting that Yorkshire has a slightly higher population than Scotland, but has less seats at Westminster.
To answer your question, however, it would seem that Labour's hope's in Yorkshire are a lot higher than in Scotland. They currently have 35 MPs although, unless something changes dramatically, I expect that to drop significantly.
And, unless it does change, Labour won't be getting any help from me either even though the prospect of "bringing the entire economy down" is hard to resist.
It also may be that there will soon be more Tory MPs in Scotland than in Yorkshire, it's currently 17 to 13, a situation that will, no doubt, warm your Tartan Tory heart.
